"My Husband Tried to BECOME Me" - Heretics Interview with Trans Widow

Andrew Gold's YT channel has this interview going live at 19.00 UK time today and I thought I'd start a thread in case anyone would like to discuss the video.

A bit of background regarding this interview:

In his recent video with Blair White, Andrew Gold mentioned to White that he had interviewed Tracy Shannon a few hours before filming his interview with White. And Gold told White that he and Shannon had a disagreement about trans issues, that he believed Shannon was very "hurt by this" and "against all this", and so he "gave her a bit of push back".

And now that the interview with Tracy is coming out, I'm going to be interested to see if Gold really was more sympathetic to Blair White in his previous interview than he was when interviewing Tracy Shannon.

I’m really glad that Trans Widows (and other women) are managing to drag the info about AGP into the public and political discussion.

It gets more airtime in discussions on UK media these days, especially since the general election in the summer, but It seems that America is also waking up to the information that this is not just a civil rights issue and that there are women and children who are being harmed by men claiming to want to live as their authentic selves. This week, I’ve seen Nancy Mace tweeting that people need to look it up and in the last year Megyn Kelly has publicised it as much as she could.

Tinsel is a reminder of the men that don't want to be kind.

It's inconvenient.

Therefore Tinsel is a target to be silenced.

I bet most of the wives/partners of those 50+ men sentenced alongside Dominique Pelicot would have argued that their fella was not a danger to women and was harmless too.

That case has shown just how many depraved men there are in any given small ordinary place and precisely why NO male should be in a female space no matter how they identify.

UtopiaPlanitia · 27/12/2024 23:48

You make an excellent point Sparkly.

I find it mindboggling that some of the wives/partners are standing up for their men to the point of having given statements in court to attest to their man's 'good' character 🤷‍♀️

It's double-standards.
A man kills a woman the papers report how his neighbours liked him for putting the bins out, or say he was dealing with anxiety. Imagine women being excused in the same way? No, me neither.

Why should we be told to 'be kind' when men tell us our vaginas don't make us women but their lipstick qualifies them as women? Because men have to be believed above women.

'sex mimic' is a good term, describing what is happening without immediately assuming a motivation

I think they’re trying to preserve their current lifestyle by influencing the debate to see them as true trans who should be allowed exceptions.

Absolutely. Pinching this to point out to others.

So far as I can see, almost every publicly ‘gender critical’ trans ally has been arguing that aspects of gender identity ideology are crazy apart from the aspects to which they espouse. They all seem to think that others have taken things too far but they are espousing gender identity at just the right level and in just the right way.

It appears to me that what is behind the lobbying of some trans allies of the GC cause is a worry that the ideologues who take gender identity ideology too far will ruin things for everyone else and so they want to be allied to the GC movement to ensure that they can steer things in a way that allows them to continue living as they’re living.

There should be more early support for those who cannot accept the bodies they were born with and a move away from sexualising children. The trans stuff just needs to fade as it's an unhealthy way to deal with mental health issues.

Tinsels's law, in any discussion about trans widows at least 50% of it will be taken up by speculation about why perpetrators do what they do.
