YouGov asks more than a thousand women to share what they think men are missing

... a recent YouGov Qualitative study conducted in early October had asked more than 1,100 women to tell us, in their own words, what they would want men to know about what it is like being a woman in Britain.

The results were analysed by YouGov qualitative researchers using our AI-powered insights tool Yabble, which identifies common themes, sub-themes and sentiment in the responses, themes and sentiment in the open-end responses, allowing us to collect, analyse and report a broad range of voices in a fraction of the time and manual effort such complex studies would usually require.

The responses highlighted not just a belief that men are unaware of safety concerns that women have, but also included wider issues around unseen obligations and obstacles women face in relationships, family life, and the workplace, as well as ways in which women’s health concerns are not considered.

(I'm on the YouGov list to answer surveys, and have been for years, but have never every had anything vaguely political to answer, let alone about women. )

Well, their AI's inadequate for the job, as it's not been set up correctly in the first place to be able to differentiate between sex and gender if you look at their other survey results on their front page.

To be accurate, it should either be Sex for Male & Female respondents (the two answers they were able to give) or have Sex for Male & Female and Gender for whichever categories they wished to study - it could have been very useful to be able to drill down into whether gender identity affected perceptions entirely separately to the binary M/F.

I accept that it is possible that they made a point of asking for sex in this particular survey, but if they can't differentiate for all of the others they've posted on their website, I can't imagine that they magically did it for that single one.
