I couldn't read it all. I am so sick of legal action being taken for 'misgendering' in so many places around the world. How did it become a thing? If someone is born male, then he/him are how they should be described. It used to be that speaking the truth was protection from legal proceedings. It's not as though he/him are offensive slang terms.

But unlike you, I prefer to do my own factchecking before dismissing a source of information as not credible because of 'hate'.

The story is true, - have been following for weeks on Lottes page and the continuing controversy of the fetishistic, sissification porn involved individual who has been involved in 'inclusion policies' that affect women and girls in sport, with all that entails. Reduxx have reported the issues very accurately (I say this from reading the original Danish material)
There is a be kind/social conformity/pride in being progressive feeling here in Denmark. There is also a strong streak of libertarianism and pragmatism around social issues. I am very interested how this will go.

I agree with the first paragraph, but the Nordic countries would be better described as social-democratic capitalist; despite their extensive welfare system, high public spending and taxes, they have never been actually socialist (i.e. social ownership of the means of production) unless I'm misremebering.

But I think "socialist" is used frequently enough for that kind of government that it's reasonable here, plenty of Labour voters will call themselves socialists when what they want is something very much like that kind of social-democrat approach.
