Irish SPHE education - UK equivalent?

Has anyone seen the interview with Mary the teacher in Ireland who quit over the new SPHE education there?

She shared some of the materials that kids are being taught which are really explicit.

Do we know if this is also happening in UK or if any other UK whistle blowers out there are sharing the materials kids are actually seeing in classrooms?

Was there not a furore over a very explicit dice game that was leaked so?

Edit: found it - it was made by The Proud Trust. Presumably teachers provide copies of resources to RSE Review (with whom my views seem unlikely to align on lots of things; but I’m with them on not teaching children & young people about explicit sex acts &/or that humans can change sex).

If you watch the full video you'll see that part of what she did on the DCU course involved seeing what was already happening in Welsh schools.

Unfortunately years ago the DfE started funding numerous unsuitable lobby groups who suddenly self identified as Sex / relationships experts for children. The DfE & some schools failed to use due diligence and purchased materials / training from adults / groups who should be nowhere near children or schools as they're "queer theory " activists, not education experts. There's a lot of money involved as it's difficult for schools to find the time to create their own materials.

I am cautiously hopeful that the arrogant "no we're not sharing materials with parents" (which is against DfE guidance) will disappear as it's not sustainable & there's a challenge in the courts about this.

Transgender Trend has done lots of research. The first link is a free download of their review of RSE materials from various groups & the second is their review of the new draft guidelines for SRHE (from the last government):

Inclusive Relationships and Sex Education in Schools (RSE) - Transgender Trend

This guide analyses publicly-available RSE guidance from external providers and compares it with statutory requirements for the new RSE curriculum. We found that this guidance misrepresents Equality law, is in breach of the requirement to teach biologi...

Thanks for all of your replies. It’s really shocking that England is not more transparent with this stuff isn’t it! I’ll take a look at the links provided thanks

So much of this has happened without any democratic scrutiny and it's affected education, the judiciary, police, politics and countless other areas. Thank heavens we now have Sex Matters, Transgender Trend, Fair Play for Women, Genspect, the LGB Alliance, KPSS, COTs and countless other groups exposing all this.
If only we'd been quicker to spot it before it was embedded in schools
