KJK at Sheffield - another soup attack

Imnobody4 · 21/09/2024 18:17

This man threw tomato juice, or soup, on Kellie-Jay Keen @ThePosieParker in Sheffield today 21.9.24

It could have been something more harmful.

Vulnerable transwoman?
Or abusive man taking a chance to terrify women?
Who knows?
Just as with every man who says he's a woman.

The women on here who smear us as right wing share the blame for all of us standing in Sheffield this afternoon being called Fascists by a bunch of angry children. I hope you're happy with yourselves.

This.

But apparently you can't say that. 3rd rule of misogyny or some such vapid nonsense.

Are you blaming women for male violence? Isn't that what TRAs do when they blame GC women for attacks on transpeople?

What attacks on transpeople?? You'll have to be specific.

Are you blaming women for male violence?

It very much looks like it.

It's not me who says this. It's the TRAs. Have you not seen the accusations of this from them?

An example would be after the murder of Brianna Ghey

lonelywater · 21/09/2024 21:12

given the recent example of people banged up for years literally overnight after posting dubious sentiments on SM, this will be interesting to see what happens to this sad excuse for a bloke.

I am aware, yes. The accusations are unfounded. As are the accusations of far right extremism, being a Nazi etc. etc.

Don't you think that amount of mud-slinging will eventually stick? Don't you think those kind of serious accusations could incite someone to act out in violence?

DirtyDuchess · 21/09/2024 21:20

He's a 34 year old bloke from Barnsley and he's been let out on conditional bail until November 25. He's a Student Equality & Diversity Associate at Southampton Solent University.

It's very simple:

Women are not responsible for violence committed by men

Do you know what he has been charged with? Just wondering what the likely sentencing might be

34?!

Ffs that's the personification of 'failure to launch' right there 🤦‍♀️🙄 No wonder he's into furries. Walking clichés the lot of them!

I agree that they are unfounded. I don't think women are ever responsible for male violence.

With the second question, are you asking me if I think accusations from TRAs might make GC women become violent towards transpeople? If so the answer is no...

PurpleSparkledPixie · 21/09/2024 21:27

2 counts of assault by beating.

Wtf is that?

And the other way round? Could the accusations I mentioned make TRAs become violent toward GC women?

No. I think people (usually men) are violent because they want to be. I think that blaming anyone other than the purpertrators of violence is letting men off the hook.

Talkinpeace · 21/09/2024 21:33

A surreal but rather wonderful side effect of today's events
was Jean Hatchet and KJK linking arms to stand together

regardless of our internal differences, when it comes to it, we are stronger together

So you don't think there is such a thing as incitement to violence?

PurpleSparkledPixie · 21/09/2024 21:35

Yeah, thank you, I've never seen that charge before.

The maximum sentence for common assault is either an unlimited fine, or six months in prison, or both.
As with common assault, battery has a maximum sentence of either an unlimited fine, or six months in prison, or both.

^That's the maximum. He's walking out of court, isn't he 😡

timenowplease · 21/09/2024 21:34

In extreme cases perhaps, but not in this case.

I'm a bit confused about what your point is here to be honest. I feel like you are trying to debate me on something but I'm not sure what.

I wonder what his weekly income is

SensibleSigma · 21/09/2024 21:42

Let’s leave the whole shouting at each other thing outside the room. This is about nasty little scripted attacking women.

And the brave women who run them down- Brava, @Imnobody4 !

This is very poor. No one should fear this type of violence

The sentencing I mean
