Goodness me BBC! You're celebrating women's rights. What's going on?!

A nice article from the BBC, with an unusual angle: the (implicit) recognition that there is still a fight for rights now. Wow. Maybe they'll join some dots one day themselves about their own terrible contribution to the erasure of these hard-won rights?

Yes, here's to the Crewe Factory Girl, Ada Nield Chew. And here's to all the women who are inspiring each other today to stand up and fight: for their own rights and for the rights of their children to grow into adulthood with their emotional and physical health supported by evidence-based care.

(And here's a nod to the men on this board who are amplifying this message too, for the women and/or children in your life).

Great, as long as it's about WOMEN, and does not pander to men who say they identify as women. Wouldn't trust the BBC not to be woke though.

Indeed. But the message is loud and clear to anyone who has their eyes wide enough open, irrespective of what may or may not have been intended. There's nothing to suggest one way or the other, so at face value this is about women.

The BBC hasn't written a paragraph about all different types of women, including the marginalised ones who weren't "born women" (nobody is born a woman 🤦‍♀️) etc etc [insert your favourite Keir Starmer or Anneliese Dodds waffle sentence here].

I await this. It may sound nasty or childish or whatever but I'd rather people made a point of supporting Vs rather than Ps, instead of supporting "women".
