#MNHQ Please unsuspend TinselAngel

I have learned a lot from and appreciated the kindness of the poster #TinselAngel. Her posts are wise, caring, compassionate and unflinching. Her voice has raised up many others.

Please allow this brave woman to continue to speak in this community.

I didn't know she had been suspended.

Neither did I.

When did it happen?

She is still able to post as far as I can see. She said a few hours ago (today) that she was suspended for telling someone to F off, but agreed to adhere to da rooolz if she could come back. And she came back.

In the thread about the trans widows film premiere on Fri 30th August on youtube, she said she was back on MN after a week’s suspension. She said she wouldn’t be posting much as a result, to avoid risking a ban.

She posted about the number of views the film had yesterday morning.

I’m not aware of anything happening since yesterday.

Eh? When did this happen. I have read some of her threads and commented a couple of times under a previous username.

Why on earth was she suspended?

For telling someone to Fuck Off? It happens. A quick 'sorry Miss' usually gets you back in after a week if it's a first offence.

Why did she tell them to F off?

Is telling someone to fuck off so awful it warrants a suspension? Why not just delete the post?

Her ban is over already, she's posted since then!

Depends how many times you have been reported and deleted before.

I have admired TinselAngel's posts and comments for many years. I am very glad to hear she's back on Mumsnet.

However I still miss LangCleg...

Tinsel is not suspended. But even if she was, surely if she wanted to come back she just re-registers with a different email address and user name?

Is it an exact science, or is this more of a whim-based punishment?

Tinsel is on another thread today, unless it's happened in the last 2hrs, she's not suspended. (She was recently for a week but she's been back for a week or so.)

No idea tbh. Perhaps it depends on the mod too.

It becomes an issue when it's reported. And that's all they do all day long, report our posts.

Whilst I like the idea of a Dallas type plot line, I'd be chucked out as a PBP before you could say "No more wine Freda"
