There have been five women now who have spoken to podcasts about the predatory behaviour of Neil Gaiman.

Back in July/August when I googled his name, nothing came up about the allegations. That's changed. I'm so glad we stayed on this. It's not going away.

Maybe we should do a little bit of SEOing by constantly googling “Gaiman rapist” or “Gaiman sexual assault “ ?

Found this tweet of a video where Gaiman talks about the erotic artwork of Milo Manara, who has previously collaborated with him. In the clip, Gaiman gushes about the women having perky breasts, amazing legs, Renaissance bottoms and not looking a day over 19. 🤢 🤮

Maybe that’s how he sees women. Two-dimensional figures, just drawings on a page for a man’s excitement. He talks about these images as if the perfect woman is merely a prime cut of meat.

I am gobsmacked. So in 2018, he was supporting Mermaids, that now discredited charity who sends young teenage girls breast binders behind their parents' backs and campaigns hard for children to be mutilated and sterilised?
He is a man interested in keeping young girls at a pre-pubescent physical bodily age?

Definitely. If I had been his PR when this broke, my advice would have been "own up to what they've got you bang to rights for, do a tearful interview about how much you regret any harm that you've caused, and FFS try to keep your nose clean from now on".

It worked for Bill Clinton, minus the keeping your nose clean from now on.

Going to ground might be NG's only option, but it's still not a good option.

I just had a look at her Instagram. I found a couple of comments regarding the abuse but tumbleweed from the rest of her fans. She’s posted screenshots of something Chappell Roan said (no idea who she is) regarding creepy behaviour. There’s a comment calling her out on it and oddly, AP has liked it. There’s another post with something weird at the end, not sure if she’s being cryptic or just tone-deaf. I’d probably bank on the latter.

Yep. I got a refund for my audible NG book. I contacted customer services.

I'm surprised by that. Pleasantly so!

I suspect it's an indication that things are happening behind the scenes even if there haven't been public announcements
