Absolutely shocking.

Brave woman for not backing down, this is outrageous and I hope that she is okay.

'Since I replied to this article I’ve had numerous death threats to myself and my unborn child. Questions on my own gender (I’m pregnant so guess that clears that one up ...) calls for my employers to sack me, threats to my home. I’ve been called a racist, a bigot and a sexist as well as various insults - cnt, slg etc.

I’ve also been asked why I haven’t raised any concerns on this topic before? See above for your answer.

When there are discrepancies with test results - which could impact the safety of another human being, in an environment that above all else should be fair - questions are quite rightly going to be asked. The answers are still unclear, otherwise this topic would be closed.

But she has many more followers than him - nearly 800k compared to 20k.

Her tweet that simply quoted his got 14 M views compared to the actual articles not even 2 M? That is some difference.

As always, women get the huge wave of response for not working optimally as a support human for all.

I honestly don't understand why people are on twitter. Seems to just be attention seekers on one side and nutcases on the other. If you are in the public eye and feel the need to communicate your opinions I'm sure there are better ways.

That comparison is so telling. I am also struck by the number of tweets confidently asserting that Imane Khelif has a womb and can become pregnant. Just when and where did they get this proof? I do find it quite scary that there seem to be so many people scrutinising what women say to find a way to discredit them.

The thing about Khelif having a womb just appeared out of nowhere, as far as I can tell. And is then confidently reasserted.

Thats simply not true.
Its a huge site and there are fascinating threads about art culture history archaeology science nature and geopolitics that you find nowhere else and with links to a treasury of information you didnt know existed.

You get out of twitter what you put in and what you look for.

Yesterday evening, my husband asked "Who is Laura Woods and what did she say to get death threats?" I told him she'd approved of an article written by a colleague and he didn't believe me that that's what it was.

I would say it peaked him but he just begged me to stop going on about it 😂😂😂
