good reason? No. he was all over the telly like a rash about 12 years ago and appeared to show some moderate promise as an up and coming comedian. continued exposure soon revealed this promise was just that-promise-which was never realised or developed. A few well attested run in's with fellow performers (Kim Woodburn speaks highly of him, for one) probably contributed to the same speed of meteoric crashing to earth as his rise. According to wiki, his only gigs of late consist of a yearly appearance in third rate pantomimes in the back of beyond. He also has the kind of smug, self satisfied mug you would never tire of punching. he does not seem entirely stupid so what he thinks he is playing at with these latest disgusting tweets, fuck knows.

He's obviously not quite as daft as we thought, he was savvy enough not to engage in a battle of wits with Emma Hilton, as he's so underendowed.

How edifying. I think that the technical term for people like this is Bellend.

It almost did. But cognitive dissonance hurts so when TRAs produced a comfortable narrative they embraced it with relief. I was watching it happen in real time in various social media arenas. The initial reaction even in usually genderist groups was "This doesn't seem right, if the boxer is geneticially male they can't be in women's boxing". But it turned quickly to "some women are naturally XY, XY women can have babies!"

It was exactly the same dynamic as the Cass report. The initial reaction was "um, this seems important, maybe there are things that should not be happening" but that very quickly turned to "Cass ignored data, Yale rejected it, nothing to see here".
