Now let's be honest. This isn't queering faith is it? It's queering Christianity specifically, because I image the amount of drag performers 'queering' Islam is very, very low.
I hate how they assume the higher, superior stance in every single space. There is an automatic assumption that every space needs to be invaded by their fucking 'queering' or special treatment, and anyone who resist or just goes 'That's a bit much isn't it? is deemed bigoted or pearl clutching.
The end goal is to make anyone who belongs under the banner of 'queer' a demi-God or some kind of deity, to replace a religion. That's why some of them say things like 'trans people are sacred'. I don't think it's a coincidence. It's a narcissistic 1-2-3 back to me.
