Male support for Transwomen, just another branch of misogyny?

Looking on FB at some of the responses to the boxing in Paris has go me thinking about the reasons behind male support of transwomen in women's sports and spaces.

I've seen so many men cracking jokes about the female losing and supporting transwomen in women's sport. Again with lots of jokes but support for the wins, non the less.

Looking at several of the profiles they seemed to fit a mold, angry gym types with a distain for women. Old stereotypes about women, poor taste jokes, memes etc

So do they support transwomen? Or have they found a new way to keep women down? By agreeing that TWAW and revelling in the fact women are getting beaten up in an officially sanctioned way?

I can't see any other reason for these men, who are not in any other way outwardly supportive of LGB issues on their timeliness or bios, to be so supportive of TW and the destruction of women's safety and achievements.

Is it just a new way to keep women down by propping TW(men) up?

Whatever these boxers are, or claim to be, this is the core of the transgender movement. Blatant misogyny, disguised as concern for the Poor Vulnerable TW, who are in fact anything but. It's the perfect way to push back hard against women's rights while pretending not to. That's why governments and corporations love it so much.

In my experience (which seems to be my fave phrase these days!), men in general do NOT support anything which gives us rights. By "us" I mean people with Vs, not Ps.
By "supporting" transwomen and saying they're women, they can not only find another way of opposing us V-owners, but claim that in doing so they are actually SUPPORTING feminism, which they'll tell us we've always said is an all-embracing concept.

I am suspicious that a large number of them are bi curious but in denial, particularly those with no obvious skin in the game.
