What a lovely lady

So impressed with this young lady.
we have the same in our doctors. I wish I’d dealt with it like her.
I don’t want this stuff shoved in my face all the time, especially not when I’m ill and vulnerable. It isn’t inclusive, it’s exclusive and not taking into account my feelings. Which were, sure, okay, but now, after being called a terf, transphobic, and watching the very real distress faced by children I know and the very real relentless pushing of this ideology, well.

She's not a young lady - she's a woman - an adult female human.

FWIW, I think the woman on the phone didn't address KJK's concerns and questions.
I also thought she was too confrontational, she should have been more emollient and asked for KJK's view of the earlier interaction.

The surgery could be acting unlawfully by removing her from the practice - I don't know what the rules are for GP surgeries, and I didn't hear the original surgery interaction, but the point about ideological symbols is a valid one. This stuff is political and employers should not be supporting one side over the other at the very least. Also pronoun badges in a GP surgery context are inappropriate. That's not patient-centred healthcare. I don't expect KJK wants to go back, but I think in principle the surgery shouldn't be able to remove anyone for the reason that they have views they don't agree with. Drunks, violent patients, patients who steal, yes.

The equalities manager wasn't being equal - if ideological badges are permitted then why can't people wear one saying Woman or Adult human female?
Why did she justify making KJK lie about someone's sex by saying "we're all going to be wearing those badges soon anyway"?
Why is it only certain people are allowed to feel safe and secure- why doesn't she care about making KJK feel safe.
I think the equalities manager probably followed her ideological training to the letter, just another scary reminder that public services are captured and the emperors clothes are bright and beautiful for all to see

It’s quite scary that if you disagree with someone wearing a lanyard you are removed.
