seen as MN deleted the last thread…

can we all stop acting like it is normal for men to be modelling underwear on a site that prides itself for being ‘for women, by women’ or whatever their phrase is.

not only has it filled spaces that female models should’ve been in, it reeks of AGP and what’s to come.

Thank you 👏👏👏

The brand name sounds as if it’s aimed at very young women. All part of the push to dissolve their boundaries, to normalise men’s presence in their spaces.

Cangar · 19/07/2024 08:32

This doesn’t bother me. They’re a specifically designed range for men so I don’t see that it’s taking space from female models.

it should bother you if you are a woman.

this is a company that prides itself on ‘empowering women’ on their site…but then decides that actually women are such pushovers we won’t care if men start flouncing round in bras and pants making a mockery of it all, is a slippery slope.

I am a woman. If the site prides itself on supplying only to women then they do seem hypocritical and I guess that might put me off. The idea of people manufacturing frilly underwear for men doesn’t bother in and of itself though.

At least these models aren’t pretending to be women.

IdealHomeExhibition · 19/07/2024 09:22

.

Men wear womens underwear to get off on it and for no other reason. Men do not become women ever.

This is grooming on a huge scale.

Not long until they start making sets like this for little boys and using male models, I'd put money on it.

PeachyKeane · 19/07/2024 09:23

Men don't need to wear bras. They're functional for us, purely sexual for men. Gross.

OuterSpaceCadet · 19/07/2024 09:35

Yeah despite the deliberately provocative knob angle shot, it's the bra that offends me. I spend a fucking fortune just be able to participate in life with the boobs I have. It feels like a tax.

Breasts are such a uniquely female experience with all the positives and negatives that come with them. When girls first develop breasts, it is often the gateway to sexual assault from adult males. Yet later on they also nourish babies and for some bring sexual pleasure.

I generally wish for men and women to wear whatever makes them happy. But bras, which many of us could not be employed or do exercise without, seems like a mockery.

AlisonDonut · 19/07/2024 09:38

People are going to make money out of these men.

That is their choice.

If women carry on buying from them, more fool them.

ThreeWordHarpy · 19/07/2024 16:15

Yes it’s the bras that are offensive to me too. Bras and false breasts are the line for me - the difference between men being gender non-conforming/breaking gender stereotypes with their clothing, and drag (or trans). Case in point, Eddie became Suzie and started claiming a trans identity when he acquired his breasts.

It’s perfectly possible that some men are getting their jollies from wearing frilly knickers under their entirely conventional clothes, but i suspect men who get their jollies that way have done so so for years and before the internet they generally didn’t share it with the public when out and about and never claimed to be women.

ApocalipstickNow · 19/07/2024 16:19

50 quid!!!!

Duckyfondant · 19/07/2024 16:35

The first pic there bothers me more. That woman will get back ache. They apparently make bad bras for men

SamuelDJackson · 19/07/2024 16:39

Mr Bean eyebrows in some fugly unsupportive bralets
Is there really a target market for paisley granny pants with crotch room?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 19/07/2024 16:47

Exactly, I said very similar on the now deleted thread.

AltitudeCheck · 19/07/2024 16:53

It's a very small subsection of their web page and says clearly at the top who it's for and why. I really can't get worked up about it, no one is pretending to be something they aren't or saying that donning said underwear suddenly makes you a woman, no-one is likely to click through to that page without knowing what the target market is.

There's plenty I do get angry about with regards to how women are being ignored or badly treated, but this really isn't one of them.

Dumbo12 · 19/07/2024 17:01

I would not buy from this firm, I hope enough other women feel the same that they are left with only the fetishistic men as their only customers, I doubt that they'll keep the company afloat.

UtopiaPlanitia · 19/07/2024 17:33

If the products are aimed at women it’s impossible to judge how they will look or work on a woman’s body if the model is a man.
Also, men don’t need bras or bra tops and women’s underwear isn’t designed for men’s crotch requirements so, other than being aimed at cross dressers, I don’t see the point in this latest trend.
