Is there a list of companies and organisations which aren't pandering to this nonsense??

It's bloody hard job hunting and actively avoiding places where you won't have to bite your tongue when this comes up!!

Saw a fantastic opportunity last week and was all set to apply until I saw one of the benefits was that they'd pay for face surgery, voice coaching and gender reassignment surgery and they have special department headed by a man in a dress to promote trans inclusivity in the work place!

Bloody Vodafone! Still, at least I saved a bit by stopping a couple of DDs to Bernardo's. That money can be better spent. And finally stopped my Labour Party subs. Dunno why I haven't done it before. I think I was waiting for an 'opportune' moment, but there isn't one, really.

Oooh that's interesting. My org used to be on there and is pretty well captured. BUT doesn't appear at all this time. Intriguing.

CorruptedCauldron · 17/07/2024 18:38

Fancy paying a load of money just to get a pointless pat on the head from the discredited numpties at Stonewall. What a waste of resources. If you’re a decent employer you’ll treat everyone fairly, you shouldn’t need a Cub Scout badge for that.

MugPlate · 17/07/2024 18:42

Er St Mungo’s the homeless charity?

Exactly! And are there similar organizations that depend on payment to promote not discriminating against disabled employees? I think not but I am willing to have my mind opened!

DH's employer is top 10 but not surprised. All nhs bodies should be prohibited from spending money on this shite

Yep NHS trust mangers should be reprimanded for spending on this racket

Employers can sign up to the government’s Disability Confident scheme for free. They then have to prove how disabled-friendly they are, but they don’t pay anyone AFAIK.

"LGBTQ+ people lie at the heart of every community in the UK"

Wow, every community! Every single one. Even little rural villages with just a pub, a church and a village hall with a fortnightly coffee and cake morning.

That's quite the unfortunate homophone.

DD1s uni isn't on here, thank goodness, but my local council sees fit to pay for this nonsense whilst simultaneously not being able to pay for the things that should be central to its remit, and also teetering close to bankruptcy.🙄
