This documentary has just come out. It's about the online grooming of children and teens. It also compared transgender ideology to a cult. It's pretty shocking when you see it all put together like this, but really worth a watch. It's only on Twitter at the moment, don't know how long it will be up for. It's an hour and a half long .

Thanks for the link. Definitely worth watching.

I watched it. So frightening. The explanation of how easy mass mind control is made my blood run cold. I knew about the Jamestown mass suicide, Wako etc but I have never seen the techniques laid out like this before.

Battytwatty · 12/07/2024 17:41

I watched it all this morning. Wow! I didn’t realise how cultish trans ideology is. Jeffery Marsh is one creepy, creepy Man.

Battytwatty · 12/07/2024 17:47

Has Jeffery Marsh ever been investigated? He makes my skin crawl.

Omlettes · 12/07/2024 18:03

Wish it was on Youtube.

Firealarm1414 · 12/07/2024 23:53

I haven't watched this yet but there was just a 16 year old girl in the US who murdered her mother and her boyfriend because they wouldn't "accept" that she wanted to transition. My fear is that this ideology is becoming increasingly more dangerous as it seems to be convincing vulnerable young people that not agreeing with them is "violence" and therefore commiting actual violence in retaliation is justified. I hope the authorities investigate whether this girl has been radicalized by some of the material she was watching online. It really has become a cult.

I'm not on twitter and I watched the whole thing. I just tried the link again and it still works for me. Maybe try a different browser.

I've just watched it. Very worrying. But still not enough about trans men. A lot of it was around trans women and how their transitions are fuelled by their fetishes. How does that rationale work for trans men?

I have an ASD DD who is being lulled down the transition route and I don't know how to rationalise her thoughts and feelings. I hoped this film would give Ali's a talking point but it's all about trans women. The only trans men that feature are in the background showing off their top surgery. If anyone has any links to something like this that features trans men more please share it.

I stayed up late to watch it last night and was astonished by what I learned, and I had previously considered myself pretty well-informed on the issues involved. Thanks for the link OP.

GiveMeSpanakopita · 17/07/2024 06:54

Watching it right now. I knew it was a cult, but the fact that it follows the age-old social initiation pattern of death, transition and rebirth to appeal to young people is very compelling. In the West we have long lost all the social and cultural initiation rituals young people used to undergo to become fully actualised adults in the eyes of society, and so this cult has rushed in to fill a gap.

GiveMeSpanakopita · 17/07/2024 06:55

I would add it reminds me of the mystery cults of ancient greece and rome with their highly secretive bodily transition rituals

rallyup · 17/07/2024 09:25

Just watching, good documentary

Buck Angel did a YouTube on this. Buck was under the impression the shooter was biologically male and transitioned young which makes a nonsense of the mother not being accepting. However, in the comments someone (who claimed inside knowledge) asserted the child was biologically female, wanted to transition and this was opposed by the mother. Either way it's an horrific case.

SpanielintheWorks · 17/07/2024 10:17

I certainly don't have any inside knowledge so I'm happy to be corrected on this. Well, 'happy' is the wrong word when something as awful as this happens.

lcakethereforeIam · 17/07/2024 10:48

Buck's major point (at least to start with, I didn't watch the whole thing) was the apparent omerta over covering this case in the American press. There were other cases mentioned in the comments. One stuck out, a Jared..something, who stabbed four women/girls in a cinema. Fortunately, they all survived. He's been detransed in this case though.

I'm not surprised people are confused as to what's going on. It makes it very difficult to trust what's going on if the press cannot be trusted to report the facts, when they bother to report the story at all.

In this country there a woman killed last year by her child. Previously Bronwyn (she/her no mention of a trans identity), now Anarlin (he/him/they/them/their). Reported as being stabbed to death by her daughter, which must have been distressing to her actual daughter.

It is awful, for the victims, their families and loved ones, even (in some cases) for the perpetrators. They press with their coating of 🤡 just make it worse.
