The brutality eh?

I think it's unpleasant when that poster hasn't posted on the thread.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 28/06/2024 13:40

I'm sure it will be imminent @ilovesooty

Give it time.

Keir isn't strong enough to control the extremists in his party even if he wanted to. I predict he won't last all that long as leader.

I think you're mistaken. I think if he delivers a sound majority he'll be around for a long time.

That poster has posted interminably on every other thread and the precis above is 100% accurate.

Beowulfa · 28/06/2024 13:41

I see my earlier post was deleted. I was reminding everyone that a particular poster has reassured us all that Labour are totally on it and everything's fine.

Whether it is or not, she hasn't posted yet so I think that remark is unpleasant.

Yeah,it'll be transtastic.

QueenofTheBorg · 28/06/2024 13:42

And this is why I won't vote for them.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 28/06/2024 13:44

I guess we will see. The Labour members I'm talking about aren't interested in government, they are interested in getting exactly what they want and hang everyone else (a metaphor, not literally). Not just on this issue, but on other things KS won't be able to deliver while keeping the majority happy.

I don't think so...I give him 18 months before a leadership challenge comes along. He has already lost a large part of the membership. I think it is going to be chaos on the backbenches and in the the CLPs

ResisterRex · 28/06/2024 13:45

Women betraying other women is inexcusable. Whether is cos you're now part of the elite or internalised misogyny, makes no difference. The result is the result for us mere plebs.

I'm not enabling them by voting for this.

I do not identify as a turkey.

The Labour Party doesn't have a history of removing PMs who've delivered working majorities.

We shall see.

Bunpea · 28/06/2024 13:48

I agree. I’m no turkey either. 🦚. It’s spoilt ballot or protest vote for me.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 28/06/2024 13:49

Fwiw I agree with Sooty - I dont think he’ll face any serious leadership challenge. I think he’ll serve his term and also be clear when the time comes that he won’t lead them into a second election

however that’s not what this thread is about, this thread is about the current deputy leader of the Labour party saying that women have no rights of their own that won’t be extended to men with special lady feelings

I was thinking the other day, I hope for his sake he's not letting either Rayner or Streetting stand behind him. I don't rate his survival chances.

PronounssheRa · 28/06/2024 13:57

Rayner was a big fan of lily madigan and if I recall signed that pledge which labelled LGBA and Woman’s Place UK hate groups.

So yeah not surprised.

Yes. Vaulting ambition.

Strangely, of the two of them, the one I think is the most dangerous for Keir is Streeting. Slippery.
Also get sense Rayner wouldn’t really want to be PM. She’s having great fun where she is now.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 28/06/2024 13:59

Yes @PronounssheRa on both counts.

Yet another one who hasn't got the brains god gave little chickens.

How the fuck did someone so thick and clueless get to such a position of power?

Every time she opens her mouth I think of Katherine Tates ‘I ain’t even bovvered’

Ereshkigalangcleg · 28/06/2024 14:01

I agree. He's so slippery he might even try to weaponise this issue against Starmer. I don't trust him at all remembering his support of the Madigan FB Labour purge group.

Beamur · 28/06/2024 14:04

I was just on the brink of voting Labour too.
Some of the senior women in Labour really don't like women.
Let alone the men.
I kind of want a change of Government but I am afraid what else might come along with it.

Unlikely they'd give it to her over Streeting no matter how many times she says TWAW. He is the one in possession of a penis after all. Labour like that about a leader.

PronounssheRa · 28/06/2024 14:05

Wonder if rayner is still keeping the green bench warm for madigan?

‘Transgender women’s rights are women’s rights’. The position of the deputy leader of the Labour Party.
gummigwer · 28/06/2024 14:13

Fuckity fuck. Does Starmer work for the opposition?
