FYI did you know that you can listen to Substacks as well as read them? I have headphones on in the garden and that's where I get most of my stuff from, listening to podcasts etc but discovering that you can press the arrow at the top and it reads them to you is brilliant.

When I look at this guy it sets all sorts of alarm bells ringing in my head - how come it doesn't seem to for anyone in the US administration?

Just to help join the dots: the professional therapy bodies in the UK have all taken their lead from members of WPATH.

The UKCP removed themselves from MOU - for the conflation of child and adults clients. It doesn't appear to be a sloppy oversight but absolutely intentional.

Why the link remains on an NHS site, openly, after all this time, is ... well, it's fucking astonishing.

Bouman is ex head of WPATH and works at Nottingham.

If men don't want to be thought of creepy and dodgy, and other things, then there is an easier way to achieve that than advocating for CSA, and lowering the age that children should have non-evidenced based treatment.

Looks like we're already at the "yes it's happening and it's a good thing" stage. People are out defending Levine's intervention like it's totally normal.

And really misrepresenting the impact, too. It's not that Levine was consulted that was the problem, it's that Levine had pre-determined outcomes that were being forced without evidence.
