We are descending into a House of Commons where the Labour Party will have a majority and will be supported by the Lib Dem's, SNP and any Green MPs to push forward legislation to reduce women's rights. Whoever we vote for as individuals is unlikely to change this imbalance.
So what do we do? Because I'm not taking this laying down.
What would be the most effective ways to check this and keep fighting for women to be treated as humans; able to make their own choices and worthy of respect and dignity?
Personally, I will
Keep gardening / farming for important legal cases.
Continue to write letters to MPs / journalists.
Complain about inaccurate or biased media coverage (not sure of the value of that tbh).
Keep quietly insisting on accurate, biological language at work (healthcare).
Keep pushing safeguarding at DD's school.
But is there an opportunity for a bigger ground movement - maybe Sex Matters - to hold the incoming government to account?
