Seems to be a bit of a technicality here if you read closely, but good that World Aquatics were prepared to argue their case about the effects of male puberty on male athletes who wish to compete in the female category.

There's no safety for the future with this. Lia Thomas was excluded for the technicality. If Lia had started the campaign earlier, given the way so many organisations have capitulated to Lia, Lia would have qualified for the women's trials and would now be part of the Olympic Squad.
This has just established the path for the next TW swimmers to take over the women's squad.

OMG - at the end of the article pops up a message from The Guardian - saying This is what we are up against, teams of rich and powerful lawyers do not want you to see.

I think in the past there would have been some 'comeback' from a TRA complaining about the unkindness of it all..

'Straight bat' is a kind way of putting it, I found it Pravda-esque in its narrow focus on the legal technicality rather than the agenda of pushing men into women's sport.

All transgender women go through male puberty; even the ones who start puberty blockers very young still end up as male as they were before they took the blockers, albeit with micropenises or other side effects.
