Jeremy Vine is Disappointed Reasonable Man let down by JKR's tone. Marvyn Harrison is Very Cross that JKR is not Kind enough and says her 'rhetoric' is 'disgusting'.

Emily Sheffield holds her own despite being talked over and her points dismissed by two blokes defending another bloke after a woman was nasty to him.

A message from women everywhere:

For the past five years (or so) JKR: reasonableness personified, supports trans people, stand up for women, is polite and witty

TRAs: send death threats, issue rape threats, add porn to a Twitter post about a children's book, post details of where she lives, refer to her in the most disgusting language

JKR (who has by now clearly had enough): "That bloke's a bloke"

The likes of Jeremy Vine: "Why is she so mean!?!"

Urgh.

I would have hoped by now that people admonishing Joanne Rowling for her tweets would have the forethought to check the time line of the person she is accused of being hateful towards. After Willoughby, surely enough people understood that supporting a male abuser over their victim doesn’t work out showing the supporter as being on the right side of the minute, let alone ‘history’.

And yet, the pattern repeats. Abusive male person is publicly supported and is the one portrayed as the victim when their female victim turns public attention onto that male abuser.

It is misogyny in action. Let them speak seems to show that misogyny is a feature not a bug of those supporting gender identity ideology.

Sorry, but COME ON! The grown up approach in life is to address issues rather than attack people because they may have a different view on something else. This kind of thing is what got us all in this mess in the first place. We are not America!

I know! I agree with you! That was my (badly made) point!

I was responding with sarcasm to the poster I thought might have been doing the whole guilt by association thing by pointing out who Emily is related to. On the other hand they might have just been being informative.
