Article about commercial enterprises seeking to monetise women’s health issues, and internet misinformation.

Astonishingly for the bbc, the article refers to women throughout.

Liz is wearing a denim shirt against a yellow wall. She has short, grey hair and is wearing black-rimmed glasses and is resting her chin on her hand.

Health: Misleading online ads a risk to women, medics fear

Misinformation and commercialisation of women's healthcare leaves many vulnerable to unproven claims.

seeing the word used correctly by the BBC is astonishing.

The Everywoman Festival is actually being allowed to take place? And in Woke Wales? Good news indeed.

I just hope they aren't having to walk through a bunch of idiots screaming 'fascist' & 'nazi' at them when they enter and leave the building. Or be subjected to crude drawings of male genitals chalked on the pavement, with the usual gross invitation that accompanies those images.

About — Everywoman Festival

The talk of cis-women and people assigned female at birth should be enough to ward off the repent motherf**er types, I hope.

About — Everywoman Festival

Most of the sessions are related to menopause and other female health issues, plus the usual “wellness guru” type offerings, and also some participatory workshops like dance and craft activities. But there’s also the misogynistic Cardiff Burlesque on the programme. And Pride Cymru are one of the stall holders.

You have to click through to the book tickets page to find the schedule and programme. It’s £20 admission which is for the guest speakers and then an extra £5 per workshop.
