Poll: More Scots agree with JK Rowling over trans issues than disagree

The poll by Savanta found 41 per cent of respondents said they tended to agree with the author's views more than they disagreed, while 23 per cent said the opposite.

More men said they broadly agreed (50 per cent) than women (33 per cent), while older people were also substantially more likely to agree.

So more news from Scotland, which seems positive, though shame that apparently only 33% of women in Scotland agree with JKR.

Its utterly disgusting. The poor bastard.

I'm sure we have all had that shock too. When we first got involved in all this. That you think you can talk reasonably. And then you realise all hell breaks loose simply for wanting to talk through the issues.

And this poor sod wasn't even expressing an opinion on the issue. He was just challenging someone to consider the foundation he had for a label he gave to someone else, i.e, is this a view you have, or are you repeating someone else's view uncritically.

Actually, no wonder TRAs went after him. Their whole movement relies on uncritical acceptance.

I really hate TRAs. I hate injustice and unfairness and their entire world outlook and movement is based on enacting unthinking injustice.

Just watched his video about him being fired and it was due to that video. He got fired after Elon Musk tweeted it. Seems school were happy he was within their guidelines until then. Trans activist bullies have claimed another victim.

I have seen the original video shared in many different places always with a positive response.

I think all those will be shocked to find out he has been sacked.

Each time you think some sanity is returning you hear of events like this.

Irrespective of it being about JKR it was a really example of teaching and should be valued for that.

But of course for man TRAs the last thing the want is clear thinking. Where would they be if this was happening IRL.
