Rachel has given up writing because of how she's been treated by the industry, which is a crying shame, not just for Rachel but for children everywhere as her writing is brilliant.

I'm so angry with the children's publishing industry on her behalf. So many who should have had her back were utterly useless.

I bought it for DGS but DD is a supporter of trans rights 😬 and madd a face when she saw the book! No doubt she's hidden it or thrown it out. I of course am a TERF in her eyes 😡

I wonder of Rachel is aware that 'some like it hot' is the title of a 50s film which includes men masquerading as a woman? Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon both play men who are fleeing the Mob and join a troupe of dancers, both pretending to be women.
