New Twitter thread from Maya Forstater on how TRF (also involved in the Denton's strategy document) planned to become the main platform for LGBTQ+ news. They were very anti- LGB Alliance. Accusations of impartiality were building — and now the platform has gone.

Were the BBC and other news organisations being influenced?

Maya’s mirror feed on Nitter for anyone without an X account: https://nitter.poast.org/MForstater This will enable you to read the whole thread (and they now only let you see the first post if not signed in. You can search anyone’s TwiX handle on Nitter and see their posts.)

Cheers, I wasn't aware of that. Last time I tried reading TwiX without an account I was able to see whole threads.

Very very murky… Reuters and the BBC are looking a bit … shifty!

Yes, it looks like an organised attempt, funded by anonymous donors, to influence media. Who knows, it may have worked, too.

There is Gina Chua, executive editor, and transwoman:

Edit: He left Reuters in 2022.
