This. Thank you all the women who went. Thank you also to those posting updates on here which I've enjoyed reading in between other stuff - not had time to watch today but looking forward to it later.

In pub now before train home. I was fairly near the front but couldn't hear half of it. Wind underpowered speakers and the TRAs. I stayed the duration to support the women. I can listen to it on YouTube later but got the gist. Great to see so many people. If the TRAs didn't think we were important they wouldn't bother with us. We are having an effect. It seemed to be mainly blokes on their mikes and in their crowd. Apparently Posie is licensed so can't exceed so many decibels where as the TRAs aren't so can be as loud as they want which is unfair

tothesea · 06/04/2024 16:29

It was my first time at any event like this and seeing it up close, experiencing it for real and not on Twitter, really shocked me. I couldn’t hear a thing because the TRA’s were drowning the women’s voices out.
I felt sick when I saw all the TRA’s and their signs. It was really upsetting but has strengthened my resolve to attend more events.

Clabony · 06/04/2024 16:29

@2Rebecca and @tothesea Well done you, it takes courage to go there I know, and thank you to everyone who attended and reported.
