Trying to understand

I will apologise in advance for not using correct terms as I don't have much of an understanding of this topic at all. My male neighbour is going through the stages to want to be female. They dress in female clothes, have grown their hair long and recently mentioned that they have changed their name to a girl name.

Now they have a female short term partner who has moved in but she seems straight. I am really confused, as a straight female I can't see the attraction to a man who dresses as a women. I'm genuinely interested as to how this works

@Maaate indeed, no one knows specific circumstances and that is a bit silly to assume that the question applies to particular individuals. It is a general question raised from a specific situation. I wouldn't expect you to form a view of someone you have never met, surely that is obvious, much like a lot of advice sought here, it tends to arise out of a specific situation but the poster is looking for helpful responses often based on past experiences. Hope that helps with your future replies on here

They are both heterosexual.

That's it. She might have weird tastes but she's straight.

You're presumably not her.
How do you know she's not bi?!

We don't but it's irrelevant to the OP's question anyway. She is currently in a heterosexual relationship. Her partner is a MAN. Him being Trans (and we don't know for sure that he is) doesn't make him female or the relationship same sex
