Can men get periods - poll on RoF

Roll on Friday is a legal news website. They have a story about the woman being sued for harassment for her GC views.

On said story, they have a poll asking whether men get periods. Until earlier today, the vast majority said no.

This evening, it has jumped up to over 57% saying yes. Clearly the poll has been shared and as it’s easy to do numerous votes, I suspect those on the yes side are trying to manipulate the results as the number of responses is jumping up at quite a pace. So, if anyone has time, please do feel free to respond to the poll.

If some people believe that the word woman means anyone who identifies as that name (whatever that means) then what do word do they use for a biological person with XX chromosomes?

Absolutely this. They can put out any batshit poll asking any ridiculous question they like about whether men are women and the answer is always no

Trans men menstruate, and a poll doesn't change that fact.

They menstruate because they're biological women. No poll changes that either.

Why do we need a word for that group of people?

Because of the men who insist they're women, of course.

Because they have medical and social needs not shared by people with XY chromosomes however the XY chromosome owners identify.

Of course we need a word for female humans.

I'm not sure why we need a word for "people who were born male but identify as female, plus people born female apart from the ones who identify as something other than female". This is a group of people without a single characteristic in common, besides being human.

And yet, according to some, we need a word for the latter but not the former.

I will never understand how someone suffering from such extreme dysphoria about their female body that they wish to "live as a man" can be OK with going through pregnancy and childbirth.

Periods of what? Extreme confusion and entitlement? Yes, certainly.

Any man who gets a period need to seek medical attention!

Whatever they choose to call themselves, if they menstruate, they’re biological women and no ideology can ever change that fact

I remember when I was little and would see parents on American tv shows say this and thinking ‘but you can’t be Batman can you???’

Well… they would menstruate, wouldn’t they? As they are biologically female.
