When Lady Gaga was asked years ago about people saying she was a man, she replied that she didn't give a shit and none of her fans gave a shit, and so what if she was? She's not one of you, she will do what brings publicity to the people she obviously values, so being disappointed in her seems a bit daft. She drew her line literally years ago, this is no bandwagon.

I’d be more surprised if she’d posed with a woman who had achieved something of note. She has a massive LGetc following so it’s hardly surprising - they both like a photo op.

But absolutely Dylan believes they’re as or more beautiful than LG. You can just see it in the mirroring.

I suspect as this was a brand event it was a ploy to get it noticed. Whatever GG’s feelings having a controversial figure would ensure it hit the news and highlighted her business.

Don't get me wrong, not surprise in the slightest in terms of LG being very pro-LGBT etc. More just, of all the days - Really?
It's not like Pride doesn't get an entire month plus a month of build up and another month of wind down - Women really aren't allowed even just one day.

The most surprising thing to me is that there wasn’t one person in her entire entourage who said, or felt able to say “he’s an absolute grifter and any association with him will only make you look silly in the long run.” I would have thought celebrities like her would carefully screen anyone they collaborate with and it would only take 5 minutes to see how cringeworthy Mulvaney is.

i imagine that everyone in her entourage would use the pronoun “She”.

The body language is extremely awkward. You can see it in the still shot as well as the video. Mulvaney’s styling is insanely bad. The whole thing is terrible on every level.

Gaga has a fantastic attitude.

Also respect her for being consistent with this picture as she has always promoted trans rights. Mulvaney is somewhat damaged goods after the Bud light fiasco so any association with them wouldn't be advised (as others on here have alluded to), yet Gaga being true to herself doesn't give two shits about that.

I'm not disappointed or surprised at all. This is a woman who openly said she would kill to get what she wants (the top of the fame game).

She has never been an ethical person. She wears real fur, and publicly defends it. She plagiarizes people. She stole her whole persona from other artists she worked with before she was famous - she used to be a bland piano-playing singer songwriter. Also, her rich dad gave her a big leg up.

Lady Gaga claimed to be bisexual when it was fashionable, yet she has never been in a confirmed relationship with a woman. She milked the LGBTQXYZ community for all it was worth and made it her whole thing, knowing that gay fans are typically very loyal towards their favourite female popstars. She will do and say whatever it is that will get her most credit from the alphabet soupers.

I'll try and be classy and avoid saying she's wearing Mulvaney in those shots as if he's a piece of meat, but I may not succeed.

That was quite the publicity stunt, and really - this is too. GaGa (does she have a proper name? It feels rude to call her that.) has been thoroughly eclipsed, professionally. Her music isn't drawing attention to her, I cannot remember the last time she was mentioned at e.g. an awards ceremony.

Whilst this particular publicity stunt may endear her to some, mostly it's just that - a stunt. A predictably yawn-generating stunt.

I've seen it mentioned she and Mulvaney are both clients of the same agency (management agency, publicity agency, it didn't say). That's just a coincidence, I'm sure.

She has been in several award winning TV series and films...shes starring in the Joker sequel with Joaquin Pheonix FGS. She has hardly slipped into the abyss.

I think its pretty silly to try and say shes irrelevant just because you personally do not know whats going on with her career,,,,,

Mulvaney gives me the uncanny valley vibes to an extreme. He doesn’t look entirely human, never mind female. He looks like a female android to me.

Yes he does look like an android! 🤖 he also looks like a scrawny predatory crow clinging on to GG for deal life, while she looks a bit calmer.
