Popped into Starbucks earlier and when I went to the Ladies...

Fuck's sake.

I don't really think it matters if they're individual cubicles or not tbh, fact of the matter is that companies are supposed to provide single sex facilities for people.

Having a male cubicle, a mixed sex cubicle and another mixed sex cubicle is not providing a single sex facility for women. It just isn't. Regardless of whether or not it's a single cubicle with a lock or not, they're not providing the spaces that they are supposed to provide - It's discriminatory against women.

I think this was the BBB video I was most remembering, he didn't use the word illegal himself but in this one, but I also think I'm thinking of two different videos to be fair.

There are two other Starbucks near me that I go into, neither have the same toilet set up. One most definitely has male and female toilets. I wonder if Starbucks is a franchised operation, like McDonald's?

Yes, you are right; and from that Netflix image it is apparent that reducing the women’s facilities is the default. It needs to stop.

Well of course, but the solution to that is male-free toilets, not having two mixed-sex and one male-only.

That's unless they install a compulsory sitting-only policy enforced by splashback paint everywhere. IMHO the only way mixed-sex provision can be even remotely acceptable.
