We want everyone to be their true selves and feel comfortable ‘being you’. That’s whether you work for us, travel with us or are part of the diverse communities we serve.

Excellent! The one thing you can do to help my identity feel valid is run your trains on time for a reasonable price.

I wonder why these companies always bend over backwards to be inclusive of identities which must cost them very little, yet stay silent when it comes to inclusion of disabilities. Funny that

Yes like when I'm 'encouraged' to wear a pride lanyard to students know I'm safe to be around (don't get me started on how offensive that it is) - and I ask where is the lanyard for our students who can't access our buildings. There is always silence at that point because making buildings accessible takes money but wearing the pride lanyard is performative nonsense but free

Or the flag for ‘if you let us know a month in advance we can arrange special assistance but when our train breaks down, or is unexpectedly cancelled mid way, even though we know there is a vulnerable person on the train in needs of special assistance, you are on your own’

Look at the "gay" and the "lesbian" flags.

None of the lesbians I know would wave that flag.

LNER, a train company, are telling people who they have to accept as sexual partners.

"Reasonable price" will be the last thing you'll get out of LNER. They recently doubled their fares (naturally they're spinning it differently).

Lots of travellers ‘true self’ and ‘being you’ involves not paying a fare. Good to know LNER will make them comfortable being their full fare-dodging selves.
