Yes, TWAWers will. Because gender identity is 'innate' so though the TW was assigned male at birth they have always been a woman.

Indeed.

That blue dummy was literal violence!

DWA is formally linked to Shakti (where Mridul Wadhwa used to work) and Shona Robison cut the ribbon of new premises there in the past.

The below paragraph was taken from the For Women Scotland. This goes some way to understand where this idiotic job advertisement

Are you aware that the Scottish Government imposes a transwomen inclusive policy on Scottish Women’s Aid as a condition of funding and that Rape Crisis Scotland refused to guarantee a female counsellor for a traumatised teenager? We know from private meetings that they erroneously believe they cannot provide a single-sex service due to a lack of ‘case law’, despite having previously done so for many years. Did you know there is a male manager of a rape crisis centre, who failed to disclose his sex at interview, and which still claims to be women-led?

I wonder how many of the people making these kinds of decisions are actually Dundonians? I honestly struggle to see this kind of stuff playing well with that population generally.

Having worked at four different companies in Dundee over the last ten or so years...the vast majority of people have no fear of a 'what the fuck is this new shite' conversation in the workplace.

I don't see how this is lawful. So in theory a man can apply for the job. So would a vulnerable woman want to be dealt with by a man. I suggest some absolutely would not.

https://rapecrisis.org.uk/about-us/why-women-girls/

'Research conducted by the Women’s Resource Centre found that women who had used women-only services greatly valued this support. An independent poll of 1,000 women across the UK found that 97% of those interviewed thought a female rape victim should have the choice of accessing a women-only support service.'

Why women and girls?

Rape Crisis England & Wales is proud to be a feminist organisation. Our member Rape Crisis Centres offer services by women, for women and girls.

Scottish Government imposes a transwomen inclusive policy on Scottish Women’s Aid as a condition of funding

I think this is the nub / heart of the problem.

Many Rape Crisis Centres and Refuges have, either through choice or funding pressures expanded their service provision by offering it to men and trans people. BUT as separate services.

If the Scottish Government said that it has to be an inclusive service, than that is clearly political ideology being imposed on those who provide services who know how best to provide it.

They (and others) wouldn't dare do this to say a health provider etc..

So yet again underlying the gender identity politics taking precedent, is the fact that the continuing fact of ingrade sexism. ie despite feminist activism since the 1970s (and earlier of course) the status of women is stil second class.

And it isn't just those with power as funders, but all those who agree by not just accepting it, but trumpeting it as progressive.

Equally Safe Funding Conditions - For Women Scotland

The Scottish Government funds organisations working towards the outcomes in their Equally Safe policy for eradicating violence against women and girls. Funds were last awarded in 2017 for a three year period to 85 organisations, including 33 Women’s Ai...

After all that has gone on in Scotland, what has happened to these women who cannot see the problem? Is it to promote transmen? No it seems not . I am so angry about how other women are gaslit and our services wrecked by these crazy people.

That’s good to know.
