https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/what-do-munroe-bergdorf-and-andrew-tate-have-in-common/

Because despite their apparent differences, Tate and Bergdorf – both strange, sexually-tormented outliers of the men’s rights movement – are two testicles of the same scrotum.

😆🤣😂

That’s a brilliant article from start to end.

JoodyBlue · 07/01/2024 14:54

Glorious Julie!! Needed that today. 😂

The NYC Front Runners just elected a Trans-identified Male as their Women‘a Director at Large.

“Erika” (Brian) Kaiser just started running again in January 2023 after a “long hiatus from running.” He competed as a woman in multiple NYRR races last year.

‘The men who wish to catcall women must be relieved that they can express this desire and continue such activities when they see a transwoman. ‘

I don’t think they would want to, tbh. The fear of being taken at their word by an inappropriately equipped person would be enough to put them off.

There's another elephant in the room too, which is that a lot of men are repulsed by TW. I'm sure they'll be momentarily fooled by the few who pass (bearing in mind that a TW walking down the street doesn't have the benefit of their Instagram filters), but they'd be mortified to know that they'd appeared to be attracted to a TW.

Julie Burchill is fabulous in all her no fucks to give glory. Another fantastic article.

inkjet · 07/01/2024 16:16

They are not concerned with feminism, so they can suck up to men in the way real women once had to. They play the dupes like fiddles, to be fair. ‘Transwomen’ are what a certain sort of angry little man wishes women were still like.

I remember a media programme where James Delingpole and Paris Lees were on at the same time. They got on really well and I thought it said a lot as he is a massive misogynist. Well they both are, tbh.

Salute Aye Aye Captain GIF

I love Burchill when she’s on form - we should make her an Honorary Viper for her service in support of explaining reality 😂

StellaOlivetti · 07/01/2024 16:25

Excellent and savagely funny. But also true. Depressingly, horribly true. Well done and thank you, Julie.

determinedtomakethiswork · 07/01/2024 16:26

Absolutely brilliant.

WarriorN · 07/01/2024 16:37

A bauble bawbag.

Great piece and I have observed the Monroe style victimhood in person when I think of one particular transwoman. They've been talentless all their lives but have finally discovered their peculiar talents for teary-eyed victimhood and grifting. Nauseating.

JulesJules · 07/01/2024 16:47

Brilliant from Julie

Cancelledcurio · 07/01/2024 17:05

Deliciously put, with just a slice of scorn; Julie Burchill and thank you for cheering me up!

Two testicles of the same scrotum 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I needed that laugh today.

Funny because it's true.

IonaPenis · 07/01/2024 17:56

Brilliant article, powdered by a great mix of fuming rage and sarcasm.

SidewaysOtter · 07/01/2024 18:55

‘Transwomen’ are what a certain sort of angry little man wishes women were still like.

Ain’t that the truth? Particularly when you have fuckwits like Lavery and co fetishising and fantasising about being sexually abused.

So the UN has reinforced gender stereotypes as part of their “championing of women” and given impetus to others who’d wish to reinforce them too.

<slow hand clap>

UN is passionately opposed to VAWG and has categorised it as a global public health issue.

https://www.unwomen.org/en/what-we-do/ending-violence-against-women/facts-and-figures

UN Secretary-General António Guterres has declared violence against women as a "horrific violation of human rights, a public health crisis, and a major obstacle to sustainable development."

https://turkiye.un.org/en/253833-guterres-violence-against-women-horrific-violation-human-rights-public-health-crisis-and

But, the UN is content to promote

  • an ideology
  • followers of that ideology to very senior positions despite said followers public statements that they personally experience VAWG as affirmation.
Completely clear. Don't you understand that thought leaders consider consistency to be the hobgoblin of small minds?

Facts and figures: Ending violence against women

The availability of data on violence against women and girls has improved considerably in recent years, and data on the prevalence of intimate partner violence (IPV) are now available for at least 161 countries. Please visit our research and data page...

I'm not sure I could pick a favourite quote from that article. Cheers Julie!

Ian Beaumont, eh? Live and learn.

CantDealwithChristmas · 08/01/2024 15:02

She's so funny. I've always loved The Burch.

gervais gets it too, to be fair. Hadn't heardread that monologue of his on 'bad old-fashioned' women vs 'good as gold' women with 'cocks and beards' until now, but....yeah. He gets it.
