I don't think defence of Palestinians is antisemitism, far from it. I do however think antisemitism is antisemitism and in my opinion he's been reeking of it for the last 10 years or so.

Owen Jones has been subtly antisemitic for many years.

He doesn't give a shit about Palestinians any more than Trans people or poor people. These are just groups he likes to identify as the saviour of as a think excuse for his hate mongering.

If tomorrow it became fashionable in left wing circles to attack Hamas he'd be claiming the media is run by a Muslim conspiracy instead.

Yup, even though the women-bashing was front and centre the antisemitism was always rumbling away in the background. The events of the last couple of months has given him an audience for the latter (beyond even his wildest dreams could have wished for). So he's pretty much come out as a full blown antisemite. Which is pretty profitable for grifters like him, so he's living his best life right now IMO and probably can't believe his luck.

I don't reckon he has plans to leave the Graun either unless he's pushed. But I think he's spreading his wings to other broadsheets in case his days are numbered there, especially if he knows himself his comments are becoming more outlandish and hate-filled by the day.

The drugs comments yesterday were a new low and he knew fine well what he was doing putting the comments out there.

If it makes any difference, 'not being in control of your faculties' while you are being brutally assaulted might be a blessing. It can hardly be a blessing to be fully conscious and fully aware of what is being done to you. Also a classic 'look at what this woman made a man do' in his blaming an unpleasant male commenter wishing rape on him on JT.

In February 2022, OJ was bemoaning that a 'neutral buffer zone' hadn't been set up between Russia and the West. What would this mean? A country which has no autonomy and can't do such pesky things hostile to Russia as... making moves towards membership of NATO and the EU.

Not a man who has much of worth to say about any military conflict.

He is the singularly most boring and whingey 'journalist' around, he just blurts on and on. It's this ranting culture when someone has a following on social media, the need to keep up figures as opposed to turning out quality articles/content.
He used to rattle my cage but I simply scroll past him on Twitter now that I am using it. He has nothing of interest to say for me personally.
