It does raise the issue of what the trans community should do about the extremist element. I'm not sure what the answer is here but I do think trans leaders should be more vocal in condemning violence and harassment aimed at gender critical feminists. Or anyone at all, in fact.

I also think we should acknowledge that there is a kind of person who sometimes attaches themselves to a political or social cause because they think it provides some sort of excuse for violence and confrontation they enjoy. Unfortunately, trans rights seems to be attracting quite a few of these.

All I can say is that it is not in my name.

I have to say that given on your statements on your AMA about what makes a person a woman rather than a man I'm surprised you'd refer to this person as "she".

To be clear, I don't agree with your definition of womanhood (or this person's either) but given you do have that definition, I would not have thought you would believe this person was a woman.

I don't give two stuffs about 'the cause'. He sounds actively dangerous to women. That's more important than 'harming the cause'.

Well, moderate trans people need to get together, talk to each other and condemn it loudly and often.
