Just that really. I'd like to have a list of questions handy for when/if they come calling.

I was thinking of asking if they think a trans man is a man - & if so why if the elder sister of a peer transitions she doesn't get the title & disinherit her brother. (On a side note can any one link to where I can find out who supported that in parliament).

I think I would ask something about whether they think freedom of speech is important. Then follow this up with a question about conversion therapy (which if introduced for trans people could criminalise parents for talking to their own child about any feelings they might have about being trans).

How about, does your party believe that single sex spaces and services are lawful, normal and necessary? If so, how do we ensure they are single sex when men can get all their ID, including their birth certificate, to state that they are female? And if single sex spaces and services can exclude those with a GRC, what is the point of a GRC?

I'll only be doorstepped by a person who claims to believe that there are many, many genders. I feel that asking her how she feels about performative stupidity probably wouldn't be productive.

Mine would be:
Does your party support the conversion therapy ban?
If so, how are you (your party) defining what would be classed as conversion therapy for gender identity? And what evidence is this policy based on?

Excellent.

I really like this approach of asking specific questions on the practical aspects- of how the the policies working on real terms are envisaged.
Can we think of more like this please?
