I dont think the article is saying anything that hasn't been said on many FWR threads, but thought worth noting that this is being said in published articles.
... spare me the self-righteous chest beating of the so-called progressives who, so hijacked by their own strait-jacketed position on sex and gender, have been unable to similarly hit out at the misogyny creep that has already led to a mounting escalation in (and acceptance of) abuse of, mainly, middle-aged women simply wanting their concerns to be heard. Save me from the unctuous superiority of men who call themselves “feminists” with the hashtag
#notallmen who can now jump on this bandwagon simply because it’s more palatable for them to moralise about misogyny when it comes from the right rather than having the introspection and self-awareness to check their own left-leaning male privilege.

And save me from the piety of the likes of the former Guardian editor, Alan Rusbridger, who gleefully tweeted about Fox with a simple “Busy day @GBNews. Sound of penny belatedly dropping…”.
This paragraph reminded me of a discussion on newsnight where Caroline Nokes took part and the other commentator were all men. Caroline Nokes was allowed one comment about how women are treated by the media. The men totally ignored the issue, ie entitled men, just sat in the BBC studio saying we told you GB news should never have been allowed, and one saying GB only took action because one of their financierswanted to buy the telegraph. Needless to say female newsnight presenter didn't put them back on topic.
Also on Any Question a young women asked what could be done about the attitudes of men towards women. All the panel, bar one, took off into replies that totally ignored that they question was about men.
If the media is the only vehicle to question the media its hardly any surprise that nothing chances.
