So apparently Karen has had an epiphany. Yet all I can think is what's the angle, what does Karen get out of this

And he obviously enjoyed their fear as he went on to sexually assault the women in there, now he wants some degree of sympathy? lauding for his views that he shouldn't have been put in there in the first place and it was not his choice?

He chose to assault and intimidate the women in there.

Manipulative predator says he has no self control, and that any male predator put in the women's estate will have neither conscience nor self control and will take no responsibility at any time for their actions. Provide them with access to new victims to destroy and they will.

Well that should be interesting come his parole hearing; that if you give him access to women it's your fault that he injures them or worse. But a useful reminder that a bastard who loves to destroy women's boundaries isn't going to follow the jolly good chap principle when given half a chance, regardless of what the likes of Stephen Whittle like to claim.

Just to note: it is nearly impossible to get a rape prosecuted and convicted in the UK and this individual is serving a life sentence. We know of course about the woman multiply raped through the night on a women's mental health ward that some absolute muppet let him identify onto, who was left terribly injured and unlikely to be able to ever have a pregnancy due to those injuries. But just reflect on how serious and repeated and extreme such 'sexual assaults' have to be to end in a life sentence, and therefore what his entire rap sheet must look like? And this criminal with this known history, was provided with access to female victims by well meaning idiots who prioritised their own need to pander to gender identity righteousness over women's bodies, and ended up with blood on their hands. How many heads have rolled over this? None. None at all.

And then reflect on whether this person, who has dedicated his life to enjoying causing the fear and injury of women for his sexual jollies, would really be any safer to said women with his tackle removed?

Thankfully the MoJ's current stance is not what the DM says: it is any male with full tackle AND/OR any history of violent sexual offenses.

The only bloke getting into a women's prison at this point is that mythical gentle fully transitioned and slightly fraudulent accountant sometimes glimpsed gambolling in a lot of scotch mist near Aberdeen.

Although I'm sure Labour will be dashing to indulge White and others like him with sacrificial women in the name of their insane religion should they get anywhere near power.

I can't wait for the media tp challenge the toxic IPSO / media guidelines and start accurately sexing these people. All the "she this", "she that" is so offensive.
Maybe that "middle ground" as has been discussed elsewhere this weekend should be that all the numerous sex offenders / paedophiles should be accurately sexed?

Karen is clearly writing with an eye upon Karen's future Parole Board hearings, because Karen requires the Panel to decide Karen is a low risk when looking for evidence of change in behaviour and attitude since Karen's offences were committed, what it was about Karen's situation that led to Karen's offending behaviour and whether Karen has addressed those issues.

Karen is not an idiot. Karen knows exactly what needs to be said for Karen to get what Karen wants.

I'm not sure he's going to find 'well it was their fault for putting me with women' (subtext how am I supposed to just not grab one and start offending) as opposed to 'I've learned not to rape and terribly injure women for funsies' much of persuasive argument really.

Based on what he says here, he should never be released. Women are in the world, if he can't stop himself destroying them he can't have freedom. That simple.

I am so sick of this political movement essentially being rooted in male depravity and a wish to never have to say no to themselves or take any kind of responsibility for themselves regardless of how much it harms others. And the never ending Officer Krupke-ing trying to make it be someone else's fault.

White is manipulative. This is common amongst sex offenders.

White is playing to the gallery here. They are not wrong. But that does not mean they should gain advantage from it. Acknowledgement that they should not have been in a women's prison is very different from acknowledging that they should not have assaulted women. This may well be a person who should be in prison, not just as a punishment, but to protect society.

But the parole board were the ones that put Karen in womens prison. It sounds to me like Karen is criticising the authorities, which presumably would not be the best strategy for buttering them up?

Let's be clear: there will always be predatory, violent and dangerous men who will lie about all sorts of stuff for all sorts of reasons. Maybe because they have ulterior motives or maybe because of mental health issues or delusions. It doesn't really matter.

Society cannot be organised around the professed wants and desires of men, while casting aside safeguarding, and ignoring, deriding, and suppressing the wants and desires of women.

Ah, thank you. I was looking at all this and wondering what on earth White was getting out of all this, but thus makes perfect sense.
He's clearly a dangerous predator and no supporter of women's rights. I'm guessing he can see the tide is turning and is changing his story so that he's in the role of poor vulnerable victim again.

It's quite an impressive tactic to be fair. Here's the playbook in summary:

1. Commit rape - everyone thinks you're evil
2. Go to prison with women and have access to more rape victims - anyone who notices the risk is drowned out by all the Be Kind people who still haven't actually changed their minds on the fact that you're evil
3. Act out on the urges and commit more rape in the women's prison - the Be Kind mob are shouting so loudly at the moment about inclusion in general that there is no chance for this news to get out in the public discourse at scale. After all, this is just a bunch of people in prison. Who cares? (Devil's advocate, not my opinion on women in prison)
4. Come out bravely saying how you should never have been put there in the first place - the Be Kind gang are thankful that there is something of substance to cling on to (as many will have been secretly starting to doubt their original conviction on all of this). Everyone is so happy with this situation that you've now transcended from being evil to being a hero.... just in time for the parole decision.

It is interesting and relevent click bait, though. This sort of information is important to know of because it helps shore up the case for the protection of women's spaces and integrity as human females.

Given the political ramifications over the Isla Bryson case in Scotland the topic of men in women's prisons is an important one, so I assume that the Guardian will have covered it.

If not, we will have to make do with the Mail. Since the story comes from a reputable women's group there is no reason to think it is not genuine.

Please correct me if wrong, but White was identifying as a TW before he went to prison. He used his ability to identify into a women's mental health hospital ward one night to commit repeated rapes on a woman there.

It's very inconvenient to those who worked so hard to get these men into women's prisons and spaces, but White IS trans. As trans as anyone else is. He's not 'rapist gender' as Sturgeon frantically tried to spin Bryson as being.

You're left with what the political agenda has always intended:

Men who identify as women are going to include rapists and killers of women in their numbers.

If you believe they are women and belong in women's prisons then you see the women left destroyed in the wake of these men are just oh well never mind issues. And somehow manage the cognitive dissonance of believing they're all women, but separated neatly into two groups of the ones that matter to you that are never distressed or harmed, and the ones you see as cannon fodder, based on 'which group has at any time possessed a penis'.

Now the general public are outraged enough, we have politicians trying to play with 'well sometimes they're legally women, but not in all situations all the time'.

Which means that the legal status and self ID does not turn men into women and in reality, the reality of sex cannot be erased without serious harm to others. If they can't be women at all times, they are not women at all. They are TW, a subset of men. And that's fine, they should have the facilities they need, but what they do not need is a sacrifice to them of women's privacy, dignity, autonomy, freedom of belief, homosexuality, or availability to be raped.

We cannot, as pp said above, stroke the fevered brows of men's wishes and desires (which you'd have to be very naive and blind at this point to not know include some appalling sexual offending ones, you only have to look at the sexually violent messaging everywhere by activists) while trampling over women's human rights and equality. Because no one apparently gives a toss what those women suffer, never mind what they wish. Except a bunch of 'dinosaurs'.
