Didn't see a thread on here already but I thought this final series showed some of the vulnerabilities / criticisms of gender ideology. I dont think it meant to though.

  • Cal - I see a vulnerable young woman with mental health problems. also interesting Cal identified as non binary but wanted a double mastectomy. I wonder if others will also see that.
  • the college was so trans inclusive etc, but the lift didn't work and some of the less able bodied were disadvantaged. I dont know, I thought this felt quite similar to in real life where there's lots of virtue signalling but for real material accessibility problems, less or nothing is done.
  • the trans people seemed to rule the roost a bit, everyone looked up to them, they were the popular ones etc.

I enjoyed it, but it felt very try hard. Interested to know what others thought!

I couldn't go past the first episode the trans agenda is all over the place and right in your face. Too much, too far and it completely overtakes the narrative. The first seasons were so much more balanced and better.

I noticed that too!!

👏👏 I'd like to think that a few people were thinking about this... in answer to the way in which the propaganda was being heavily pushed.

I called it out gleefully as it happened, but by then it the shot had obviously changed. My husband told me I had become too obsessed and this was me in tin foil hat land. So we rewound it. His verdict "You may have a point".

I did struggle. But I also enjoyed the character development of some of my favourites from previous series. Adam and his Dad, Aimee, Ruby (someone mentioned Ruby before), Viv. I found Otis, Jean and Maeve far less interesting this time and the new just felt like they were wedged in to push what had already been started with Cal. I was blissfully unaware of all of this when I saw it unfolding in the earlier series with Cal. The messaging worked perfectly on me at that time because I thought it was great that she was binding her breasts so that she could be her true self 😬😬😬
