Why are TW not campaigning for sex to not be recorded on a birth certificate? I can't see the point of it being recorded if it means nothing any more.

They are. Especially the self-declared non-binary crowd. I've been following the German Self-ID discussion quite closely and every day there's another fuckwit on Twitter suggesting just doing away with sex markers altogether. Talk about doing the bidding of the patriarchy. Its quite ironic really as Germany actually has a constitutional mandate to work towards women's equality- but I guess thats ready for the dustheap of history as well.

But then there'd be nothing left for TW to try and identify into?

That's why the ones with two brain cells to rub together hate the non-binaries for muscling in and queering their pitch, as it were.

This is one of several situations that have ended up in the press that is supposed to create a wave of sympathy, and where in fact it looks more like someone with issues set out to cause a wholly unnecessary problem that they could be a dramatic public victim of.

And the point comes where you start to wonder with some personality types if the real unmet need is to permanently be a helpless victim who gets to throw complaints around and shout at everyone else for getting it wrong, not having a crystal ball, and not jumping when they were told to. And is looking for the apologies and the energy and attention of the complaints process and the deluge of strokes on social media. Have met several service users of this personality type, usually with more than one complaint going on at the same time.
