Saw this on the account of a trans woman who is seeing some success at the moment as a play write (at The Globe funnily enough) Lots of posts about how ‘hot’ they are and posing in skimpy clothing. Really what this is saying is that women are unsupportive bitches - even the ones that identify as trans men and ‘gender fuck Bois’. Qu’elle surprise. Only trans women know how to do proper feminism and the ones with the great misfortune to have female anatomy don’t appreciate how hard it is to be a transwoman and how much they suffer.

Surely that should read 'especially' rather than 'even'? Every time a transwoman is on the radio (Radio 4 Women's Hour cannot seem to get enough of the) it's obvious they're male.

As it happens, the single transperson to be literally murdered in the street (or elsewhere) in Germany in many years was a transman.

Umm women. As in actual, real women. So not relevant to the male who wrote that.

This person seems confused, it is male violence against WOMEN that is killing women.
On average, 2 women a week are killed by a current or former partner in England and Wales.

I know exactly who this is (we have mutual acquaintances though have never met thank God) and they're not a successful playwright at all. They tried to become a writer and actor for years and years as a "cismale" and was a complete failure, then suddenly declared themselves to be non-binary and loudly jumped on the TRA bandwagon, tweeting publically begging theatre execs to meet with a trans playwright and playing the if you don't meet with me and hire me you're a bigot card as loud as possible. They've had lots and lots of lovely attention but only 2 plays, both about being trans, one off which was self-produced and self-funded. Hardly a success just a self-publicist.

I googled and the thing they're doing at the Globe is a one-off performance of a 10-minute play in a short play night curated by one of their best mates, a posh white woman who's entire social media feed is woke woke woke (but who only gives her posh private school chums jobs since apparently wokeness and cronyism aren't mutually exclusive.)

Funny thing is one of the most successful West End playwrights around right now is a transwoman but never talks about or writes about being trans or does any TRA or Twitter shouting. Just gets on with writing bloody good plays. The endless social media screaming is when you don't have enough talent to get noticed on your own merit.

I saw a transwoman moaning about E Page on Medium and how Page has had it so easy and didn't know he/she/they were born (wasn't Page abused as a child?).

And if I recall correctly, the trans man in question was killed trying to defend a group of lesbians from some Black Pampers style genderists. I don’t know if anyone was ever prosecuted?

That’s interesting TomVinegar - I was perhaps being a bit too generous with my ‘successful play/write’ label. I was buying in to their own self-publicity. There’s a Welsh trans woman on Instagram who said they were in ‘talks’ about being in one of their plays. This person does not have any acting ability on show so I can only surmise their skill set is ‘being’ trans and being averagely skilful at applying bog-standard make-up on a daily basis. I’m holding my breath.

It seems it’s all about this notion of ‘defiantly’ ‘existing’ for them. Showing off their ‘hot’ body in toilet-mirror selfies. And then getting all the likes and ‘phwoar’ emojis.
