She didn't last long! I wonder what happened there? What next for the ghoul of Leeds 👀

Susie Green has left Gender GP!

I do suggest going and having a look because the copy is quite something. A sample:

GenderGP knows from speaking to families whose children were in pain, stuck on a 3 year long waiting list simply to be seen for the first time, that opting for private care saved their child’s life.

Ghouls.

Ash would have far more dignity and decency than to pull that. He always struck me as a bit handy if necessary, so I hardly think he’d be wanting the “easy ride” that the women’s estate is perceived as.

(I am a huuuuge fan of Hustle!)

Excellent analysis, Otter - I agree!

stonewall or NHS DEI lead

I suspect an NHS role or involvement in one of the 'devolved' regional centres. Or another implementation of NHS Manchester's Indigo Gender Service.

TheBiologyStupid · 14/07/2023 23:23

Just seen your comment about Albert, Otter. How true - there's honour amongst thieves. And you can't con an honest man. (Pretty sure they didn't say "an honest person" - given criminal proclivities, that was the correct decision..)

Oh, my post has been zapped for the crowdfunder link. Here it is again with a screenshot.

Susie Green was recruited to do fundraising and advocacy for Gender GP. She ran a crowdfunder. 56k on a crowdfunder sounds OK until you read on and realise that £50k came from one donation... which is ringfenced specifically for over 18s.

So she's brought in £6K.. And how much were her wages over that time?

LizzieSiddal · 15/07/2023 06:05

I can’t see anyone wanting to take her on, she comes with a huge amount of baggage, most of it documented on the internet, including all the accusations from her ex employees at Mermaids.

To be scrupulous the message says that the 50,000 dollars (not pounds) was donated separately to from the crowdfunder, but there is an anonymous £40,000 donation from end of May which I think we can assume is same donation (it seems to be about the right time).

There are a few £1,000 donations as well.

Stonewall has not got to the level of power and influence it has today by making the kind of catastrophic mistakes that employing someone like SG would be. No way is she going there.

Perhaps - looking at it through the other end of the telescope, Gender GP is too radical even for SG.

The Polly Curtis 'Tavistock' podcast series on Tortoise Media has an episode (ep 7) about Gender GP and the presenter (who had been worryingly unquestioning on the foundational issues of trans ideology throughout the previous six episodes) was quite horrified about Webberly.

But maybe they just fell out or SG was just rubbish at fundraising as she is tarnished, and maybe she is not leaving to go anywhere.

GrimDamnFanjo · 15/07/2023 09:52

Fundraising is actually a job where you need to know what to do.
Susie would have had staff to do this for her at Mermaids. I'm not surprised she's moved on.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 15/07/2023 10:23

Tbf when SG started out, mermaids was tiny & it was SG that brought in the money

it might be something as simple as SG is used to being the boss and at gender GP she isn’t & she finds she can’t cope with being told what she should be doing

RebelliousCow · 15/07/2023 10:35

The fact that Susie Green and Nancy Kelly have both left their employments this week should not lead to false hope. I'm pretty certain they are simply re-grouping. There seems to have been a step-change in recent weeks and things have been getting ramped up. This is probably, in large part, due to the concerted and growing push back against gender ideology across the world.
New tactics are now needed and I suspect that inserting key players into more directly influential roles will be the goal.

The gender ideologues still very much have the balance of power and the upper hand, and can more easily call on the levers of power to implement their will. They have governments, police service, civil service and major corporations, of all shape and form, in their pocket.

What we have is the ability to say "no" and to stand firm, and the ability to force the issue into the public realm. This is a long haul campaign and we must never let up. I'm pretty certain it will all unravel of its own accord, anyway - but there's nothing to lose from helping it on its way.

£40k from the YouTuber, £1k from Webberley and £5k from GenderGP, so £10k from individual donors over 5 months on that crowd funder.

Green has put on LinkedIn that she wants to return to the charity sector.

I can’t see Stonewall being interested in someone who left their last charity job under a cloud. Although, looking at its Trustee appointment debacle, maybe Stonewall would be that stupid?

SabrinaThwaite · 15/07/2023 11:39

*Sorry, got mixed up with Trustees - it was Mermaids that had the Trustee debacle wasn’t it?

Stonewall openly gave Aimee Challenor a role working with schools as part of their trans advisory group after the safeguarding scandal broke in the Greens. I would suggest that action alone very clearly evidences Stonewall's woeful attitude to safeguarding children.

Maybe Nancy and Susie will set up
a new charity together?

It was. Jacob Breslow is now on medical leave from the LSE, having gone on sabbatical as soon as the excrement hit the fan.

Breslow has according to his WordPress left LSE. He has blamed it on harassment

TheBiologyStupid · 15/07/2023 13:41

Ooh, interesting - thanks!

PronounssheRa · 15/07/2023 13:45

He released it as a press release, but it seems no-one was particularly interested

I only found it because this thread mentioned him

'Statement on Leaving LSE. 11 July, 2023.
I have made the difficult decision to leave my position as Associate Professor of Gender and Sexuality at the LSE Department of Gender Studies, where I have proudly worked and studied for many years. I made this decision because my Department, my colleagues, and I have continued to be subject to harassment, despite LSE’s independent investigation exonerating me. I understand this harassment to be part of a broader movement against the field of gender studies, and against trans rights and dignity, that is increasing the vulnerability of already marginalised people. I ask that the harassment of the LSE Department of Gender Studies comes to an end, and that my colleagues be left to continue their vital teaching and research in peace.
I have cherished every moment of my time with the LSE Department of Gender Studies. It has been an honour to work alongside such brilliant colleagues, and to teach so many cohorts of wonderful students. I am grateful for all the opportunities afforded to me while working at LSE.'

Harassment = querying written down, public domain, sexual fantasises in your own name about kids.

Vital teaching and research? Do me a favour.

She's certainly fond of the word 'lifesaving'.

Crassly irresponsible is the best of what it is.

Did anyone else see Dennis Kavanagh's Twitter thread about NK's departure from Stonewall the other day? Tragic, really. She could have made a real difference.

Thread by @Jebadoo2 on Thread Reader App – Thread Reader App

1/ I want to pay tribute tonight to Nancy Kelley, outgoing CEO of Stonewall for being our ever stalwart general fighting for the reality of sex and homosexual rights against the madness of gender. She could have given in, but she always did the difficult thing, the right thing.
2/ NK took over Stonewall at a time of flux. Gay marriage was achieved. The dreadful shadow of AIDS was now a critical condition, not a death sentence. We had service in the military, we had equal consent. The Gay rights movement faced an existential choice, and Ruth chose trans
3/ Incoming Stonewall chief NK noticed the tumult and aggravation regarding trans politics. She immediately ceased all Stonewall lobbying in this area and refocused the charity on two matters. Gay rights abroad and healing after AIDS.
4/ Under her leadership Stonewall forsake lucrative funding related to workplaces and single sex spaces and worked hard in the Middle East, Africa and further afield to secure gay rights, SW put in place successful refugee and immigration assistance and campaigned globally
5/ At home the wise CEO estimated that the domestic gay rights movement had spent so long fighting, it had little time to reconcile itself to pain & real problems. Effective campaign around chemsex, alcohol and loneliness were undertaken for gay men with difficult truths faced
6/ Stonewall finished it's work in the family courts protecting lesbians who had historically lost custody of children simply for being lesbians. Similar campaigns to those for gay men regarding such matters and family alienation were undertaken. Lesbian role models were offered
7/ And there there came gender. Stonewall's singular focus on same-sex attracted people displeased the lucrative and global push for gender to displace sex as a primary reality in legislation. Many competing charities took the shilling of international gender.
8/ A debate erupted again as to whether Stonewall should do the same and return to the Ruth Hunt Agenda. NK will be remembered for her heroism in this hour. She coined the phrase "let's debate" against gendocrats who said "no debate".
9/ NK spoke to gay rights legends Bev Jackson, Kate Harris and Simon Fanshawe for guidance. Memorably, she chaired a public meeting where internet firebrand Magdalen Berns addressed a gala Stonewall sponsored debate on whether gender ideology was homophobic.
10/ This debate established the coming horrors of gender, Berns explained what an AGP and the "cotton ceiling" was, Harris and Jackson spoke about the danger to children, Fanshawe explained how a generation of straight people were calling themselves "queer" (to gasps)
11/ Resolute in her desire to protect same-sex attracted people, NK issued a Stonewall statement the next day entitled "Without sex, there is no same sex attraction". In this reality there was no reason for JK Rowling to say such, Stonewall did it's job and defended gay people.
12/ The global tides of gender washed against the shores of TERF island nonetheless, only in this reality, TERF never took hold as a term, it couldn't, the gay rights movement were the principal opponents of the doctrine. But come it did with Forstater.
13/ In this reality things were somewhat different though. Forstater was employed by a US based organisation where gender predominated. In her hour of need it was NK, not JKR she turned to, it was Stonewall who fundraised and supported under the "no sex, no same sex" banner
14/ Forstater still lost at first instance, because the charities who did take the shilling of international gender capitalised on Stonewall focusing on global gay rights and real problems in the gay community, they still corrupted the institutions somewhat.
15/ But it was Stonewall who intervened in support, rather than in opposition to her, their firebrand legal team and the additional support of the EHRC made their win inevitable. Following the victory a Stonewall campaign purged the ETBB of genderese
16/ Away from employment, NK was made aware of dark rumours of modern gay conversion surgery spurred on by a hitherto small and inconsequential charity called Mermaids. Following disquiet she met with Dr David Bell, a governor.
17/ He explained clinicians had grave reservations about a "new form of gay conversion therapy" with reports of homophobic parents "transing the gay away".

This was NK's finest hour.

Occupied with global gay rights and anti chemsex campaigns she had been unware of this
18/ But when the call came to protect vulnerable gay and autistic and looked after children she and Michael Cashman called for demonstrations, mounted public campaigns and labelled the practice of gender medicine "the new gay conversion therapy"
19/ Mermaids were removed from any clinical influence within months. The case of Appleby never happened. A statutory inquiry was triggered into Mermaids and in and echo of our own timeline Stonewall went to a Tribunal to successfully remove their charity status
20/ Where Gender attacked, Stonewall defended. Kathleen Stock never left her job, a Stonewall sponsored counter protest bussed hordes of lesbians and gay men in to protect her. Allison Bailey represented Stonewall at various tribunals.
21/ The LGB Alliance never existed, it didn't have to. Sex matters the same. Helen Joyce and Maya Forstater sat on panels WITH NK to discuss protecting women against gender, not promoting it. Self-ID never gained any purchase and gender never made incursions into the UK.
22/ And that Stalwart and defiant protection of women, homosexuals and bisexuals all happened because NK and Stonewall showed leadership. They recognised the danger of gender, they saw to their community and they avoided years of misery.

And that was true leadership.

Deeply moving. And hysterically funny 🤔

Tho actually - 'on the money'. The good they could have striven for, but no. Trans-bollox-ideology.

Lost.
