Gender critical and working for NHS

I’m sure this has been discussed before many times, but are there any other nhs or public sector workers who are feeling anxious about all the gender stuff coming into the organisations we work for? I’m anxious about things like being told to state my pronouns (we haven’t yet but I can see it coming, other teams in the same organisation already have them on emails). I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of being trans or not, but I feel like my rights as a biological female at work will start getting trumped by trans rights ideology coming into my workplace but I won’t be able to do anything about it or say anything for fear of losing my job. A lot of the equality training I have been on in recent years has very much focused on the trans rights stuff. Hope I’m making sense but don’t want to say too much in case of outing. How do other people in similar lines of work manage this?

I work in the public sector. i ignore all info relating to pronouns or being an "ally". I've never been silent about my gender critical beliefs and how they are a protected characteristic. I have said that if i am ever formally instructed to use pronouns (which can't be insisted upon) I will be using either 1) what/ever, queen/bee or emperor/penguin. Ridiculous state of affairs. I've shared info with colleagues at different times on the Alison Bailey case, The Cass review etc and have not yet encountered any hostility. Perhaps, I've been very lucky!

New staff wellness centre at my hospital. Not holding out much hope after filling in the gym induction form...

NHS here. We have similar nonsense. I'm considering contacting my GP and making sure they haven't, without my consent, decided to log me as "woman (including trans woman)" because I have no idea what made up definition of 'woman' they are using which includes men, but clearly it does not include me. It's offensive and othering to think they have the right to categorise me without my consent. In no other area are they allowed to do that. Imagine if they just decided to allocate me a religion FFS.

I just keep my head down and try to stick to factual situations. I note for example that a past team leader has adopted pronouns in email signature but also that she has a gender neutral name so it could be useful to do so. I don't wear politicised lanyards. I can't ever see myself challenging a colleague on their choice of toilet use tbh unless I thought there was a specific issue.

I'm both relieved and surprised to see that the Gender field on our records is used for the sex of all patients, as one of my greatest fears of this movement is someone getting the wrong treatment because their sex is incorrect on the record. That to me is worth fighting for.

I will not be choosing ‘woman including trans women’, I would be choosing ‘prefer not to say’ in that situation.

My local London hospital has brought out these cute rainbow badges. I have not seen any nurse doctor that wears them.
