What is up with this bizarre woman???

I don't know why ftms/transmasc ppl wear bow ties and braces etc it just does not resemble how any man I know looks whatsoever
The problem is the sorts of clothes average mean wear - shorts and t-shirt in this weather -are also worn by a sizeable proportion of the female population. They're trying to think of something to wear that women don't. Comical fail to a UK audience where plenty of girls have to wear ties for school and braces say clown (sex unspecified).

Knox doesn’t come across as very stable. They have often talked about past trauma in childhood which is very sad and clearly still causes issues in adulthood.

There seems to have to be a big reveal or ‘coming out’ on a regular basis which makes me think that Knox craves attention and affirmation. Firstly one of the children was trans and then the husband. Knox believes (or pretends to believe) that TWAW so she then had to come out as a lesbian to make it make sense. It was a lucky coincidence that she realised she was a lesbian around the same time that her husband ‘became a woman’. Then Knox wrote a book about all of this.

Some TRAs got annoyed with her because as a ‘cis’ person, she had no place trying to be a trans spokesperson. Very shortly after this, she realised she was non-binary. What are the chances?!

Since then of course there has been the polyamory and the moving from a boring old NB identify into a ‘transmasc’ one.

I wonder what revelation will come next. As far as I can see, Knox has not yet come out as neurodivergent, so perhaps that’ll be next. (Please note, I’m very aware that neurodiversity exists and is a very real, but also that there are an increasing number of self-diagnosed ND people who very much see this as part of their identity).

This woman makes me realise we have hit peak trans. She is the personification of cringe. No child looking at her is going to think being trans is a good idea. She’s desperate for her visit to have the same level of controversy as a KJK event but literally nobody cares.

Completely agree. I saw a talk where she said kids tried to set fire to her when she was young or something like that :-( made me feel very sad to be honest. I hope she finds peace.

How old is she? Christ, and I was worried about looking tragic in a club in Shoreditch the other day with work colleagues.

I think you're all so right. This is where the trans hysteria movement dies. What teenager could look at this and not see their mum doing it which is the absolute kiss of death for any kind of youth movement. My own teens now roll their eyes anytime they walk past anything rainbow. I might start walking around in their school ties to complete their terfication.

Though having said that, I can't help find her "advocacy" extremely frustrating and bizarre. As she identifies (lol) as a public advocate I think criticism is definitely fair game

She bangs on about ‘your Mom’ all the time too. I suppose it might have been funny initially (to someone, somewhere) but she says it such a lot now. I wonder if she realises that this is something ‘the kids’ were saying quite some years ago now.

@ftmquestions, agree. I do think it’s sad that she’s been through some traumatic experiences but I also find her insufferable and wonder if she will ever truly find peace. She seems to have an insatiable need to be affirmed and liked, especially online. It’s not a healthy way to live one’s life and I would hope one of the therapists she has seen over the years would have tried to help her understand that.

I think lots of us have probably met people like this in RL. Always a new drama, a new ‘thing’. They message you and you think ‘now what?’ 🙄

Yeah very much. You can see why a certain personality type with traumatic experiences would be vulnerable to falling into the gender community. Suddenly all of your problems are due to "systematic transphobia" and any criticism can be dismissed as "bigotry". A simpler way to live life

Cure little boys with long hair and dresses can look like cute little girls. Pubescent boys not so much.

I expect that'll soon be corrected by hormones and surgery.
