His ex-wife is not an employee. Not their responsibility.

I don't have any issue with an employer providing counselling services to their employees whether past or current. It's often offered as part of an employment contract.

Separately I hope his wife, his children and the young man who was involved in this situation can access counselling too.

I don't think this is a feminist issue, perhaps you could explain your thinking on that?

His ex wife wasn’t an employee of ITV was she?

They’ve probably done this because of Caroline Flack and what PS said in his interview. That way if anything happens they can see they did what they could (for legal and PR reasons).

I hope they are similarly supportive of the young man who was also under their employment.

A man behaving inappropriately sexually with a younger subordinate at work?
Having his employer cover up concerns, and provide public relations around his affair to make him look sympathetic and gaslight his wife?
I think thats a feminist issue.

I was referring to the provision of counselling from his workplace, not the wider situation. Clearly.
