Hopefully KJK will stir up some headlines on this do they can’t claim ‘no one is talking about it’

Mamapiggywig · 16/04/2023 18:02

After the mess that the tories have left behind , labour should simply mop up the votes. They won’t because they have kier starmer in charge, and frankly I wouldn’t trust him to feed my cat let alone run the country. We have absolutely no one to take charge of this country .

Floisme · 16/04/2023 18:16

I honestly think that despite them knowing they are alienating their core female members they think we will still vote for them because we are Labour women.

And wait for the rage if we don't. You can see it already on this board, not directed at their own party for their utter, calamitous stupidity, but at women who won't comply.

They've got 18 months to sort it out.

Needmoresleep · 16/04/2023 18:24

Didn't they assume the red wall would vote for them. Look at how far that got them.

Don't they assume that ethnic minorities will vote for them only to watch a multi ethnic front bench.

Alternative tactic.. listen to potential voters. Stevenage woman perhaps.

dropthevipers · 16/04/2023 18:38

Starmer could stop this dead overnight by simply saying "trans women are men". What are the chances of that?

As much as that? Optimistic somewhat.

Very slim - but I imagine it would cause ructions among a large section of the activist base and the young metropolitan voters. That's what I'm guessing anyway.

FuckNuggets · 16/04/2023 18:58

Ive been a Labour voter my whole life, I'd rather eat my own 💩 than vote Tory but, Labour are by far the most misogynistic of the 2 parties! 3 female PMs, all Tories. Labour have never even had a female leader, Harriet Harman being acting leader doesn't count.

As much as I hate to say it I think the only reason we're not as far gone as Tranada, the US, NZ, Scotland and Ireland is because we've got a Tory government. Can you imagine what we'd be like under a Labour government?

I hate the idea of another 5 years of the Tories, but a Labour government scares the shit out of me as a woman! What will happen to our rights?

SirSamVimesCityWatch · 16/04/2023 19:00

Labour can fuck off.

We all know when they say they are the party for women, they mean "all women - but especially the ones with dicks".

So, no. Just no.

Seems like buying into this batshit mentalism scrambles your intelligence in all other areas. Do the maths-piss off the vanishingly small percentage of the electorate that constitutes Bloko Haram, or 51 % of the population? If you cannot work even that out you shouldn't be in charge of a sweet shop, let alone anything else.

FKATondelayo · 16/04/2023 19:40

Lifelong Labour voter here. Labour like 3 types of women.

  1. Suck my dick for socialism - sexy young women who think LW men are nicer than RW ones.
  2. Sad mummies who are 'just trying to feed their families and pay their energy bill' - useful for patronising and putting on the front of leaflets - and of course for voting.
  3. Leaflet deliverers and seat warmers - political helpers who can have a bit of leadership but will never forget their true role of helping the men win power.
Spanielsarepainless · 16/04/2023 19:57

They can't even say what a woman is so goodness knows what they think they might be protecting.

Yes it's really starting to piss me off too.

RhannionKPSS · 16/04/2023 21:41

Wes can feck off, I don’t trust him & the rest of the Labour worshippers of the Church of the holy high heels. Just remember how Wes had a secret Whatsapp group against GC women.

lanadelgrey · 16/04/2023 21:47

When they actually sit down and listen to Rosie Duffield and take what she has to say onboard. But we may be waiting a while

Floisme · 16/04/2023 23:08

It's so weird how I feel about Labour these days. It's like if you're having a trial separation after a long term relationship, and you're still hoping you can work things out together except that, now you've got a bit more distance, you're seeing things about them that you'd never noticed before and you keep catching yourself thinking, 'What a knob'.

PollyPeptide · 16/04/2023 23:18

I thought the Sentencing Council set the tariffs, not prime ministers. I used to be part of a prosecuting body and the only people who made decisions about lengths of sentences were the magistrates and judges. I often used to be dismayed by their decisions but I never thought John Major or Gordon Brown was responsible. I'm mystified where all this has come from.

You are correct and this bs about it being the PMs responsibility. This confusion is being pushed by team Stammer due to the fact that Stammer was personally on the sentencing committee that decided to remove the mandatory jail term for child abusers and rapists. Basically this is all a massive squirrel but it's backfiring badly because everyone is pointing out the hypocrisy and lies

Eh? What a stupid self own. All that shows is that Labour KNOW what a woman is, they admit as much by saying that Sunak has got GCSE biology right, they just don't think we are important enough to be legislated for independently of men who think they are women.

Nice.

This!

Except personally I think I have reached the “What was I even thinking, we can never work this out, how was I so fooled, I thought we had so much in common but I was looking through rose tinted spectacles, I believed the talk even though I never really saw the walk being walked. I so wanted to believe it but there was never any substance in it all. Just empty words and a few breadcrumbs now and again to keep me hanging on and hoping”

I so hope I can vote for Kellie-Jay’s party at the next GE.

Floisme, the Conservatives may have got a leader who they did not want, but who appears more palatable to the voting public. This is then causing problems for Labour, as it is taking attention off Tory performance and refocusing attention on them and what they are offering.

Labour too now need policies that will attract voters. The very easy one, which does not cost money, is knowing what a woman is.
