Considering the issues Andrew was financially embroiled in and Harry's recent endeavour along with the historical Mermaids links you would think the Royal family and their employees would be aware of what Foucault and hus Queer ideology are not supporting it?

Prince William stuns customers at an LGBT restaurant in Poland

Pictures from the Butero Bistro in Warsaw appeared to show the Prince of Wales sitting around a table with an unknown group, while placing an order with a waiter.

If Kate posted that her DH had been to a gay bar on a business trip, I'm not sure safeguarding would be the thing most posters would be thinking.

Except, of course, he didn't go to a gay bar. He went to an inclusive restaurant which specialises in comfort food, along with his team.

Your "argument", such as it is, is all over the place, OP. Two of your three links in your OP refer to Harry. If you want to say something about Harry, start a thread on him. Not sure what William in an LGBT friendly restaurant has to do with it, apart from trying to stoke up rage about queer theory.
And yes, many of us know who Foucault is and what he stood for, and those who don't can always ask.

I agree with a PP: Translation: I'm homophobic. And trying to dress this non story up as pro queer theory because queer theory is bad and women on MN are fed up with queer theory even though there really is fuck all to do with queer theory in this story.

This is just about Butero and William's visit; I'm not up to speed about what's going on with Harry or Andrew.

Butero is a cool new(ish) place in Warsaw, somewhat under the radar (until now - I'm sure they're happy for the publicity from PW, although they may struggle a little with an upswing as it's a small venue with local seasonal food prepared from scratch). The name, "butero", is a clue to their focus and ethos - it's the Esperanto word for butter. Their cuisine - which tries to strike a balance among vegetarian, carnivore/omnivore, and vegan (that'd be the plant-based butters) is butter-themed, and the name is a nod to Ludwig Zamenhof, a Pole who championed Esperanto (and was nominated for the Nobel Prize for doing so) as a way for people to communicate in Eastern Poland in the mid-19th century when there were equal and minor claims for Polish, Russian, German, Yiddish, and Lithuanian languages, among others.

I'd consider that all of these things might've appealed to William (perhaps suggested by whomever on his staff scout and book for him): good food ethically and locally-sourced, Polish AND pan-European (chimes with a representative of the British State visiting and supporting Poland, and with NATO - I don't say EU, but some would), multicultural, and LGBT+ friendly. I can't much fault him/them for any of these, under the circumstances of his visit or in general.

Also, for anyone confused by the menu: the fries aren't served with actual amber (what a deal at the price if they were!) but with golden-brown mustard. And for any animal rights activists, the "green hooves" are spinach and potato dumplings.

I'm loving this level of detail, @Maduixa 😋

FFS a group of adult work colleagues go for a meal in a local restaurant near to their hotel and its a safeguarding risk.

Me too!

Much appreciated- I can see now that something got lost in translation between the menu and the Daily Mail as the following screen shot left me aghast (my big sister once fed me lard on a spoon as part of a blindfolded taste test and I had to have three days off of primary school due to all the puking).

I hope the restaurant is able to cope with a sudden uptick in interest and that the positives of a raised profile outweigh any negatives!

The something-for-all ethos including veggies & vegans is no doubt a very appealing thing for a group of young (ish) Londoners on a foreign work trip.

This is what happens when you become obsessed with Andrew and niche issues
