Aid charities that support sex based rights?

Oxfam are obviously out, Christian Aid spout gender nonsense, so what charities are left that work in developing countries and acknowledge the biological realities of sex? Have a bit spare that I wouldn’t mind donating.

Lumos? Plus JKR funds all the running costs so your donation will go directly to aid work.

I second Lumos. They do amazing work.

Ethiopiaid haven’t spouted any woke nonsense, and do good work against fgm, provide fistula surgery, support battered women in refuges, etc.
Womankind had a brief woke phase but seem to have reverted to knowing what women are, judging by their ads.

I don’t think the Fistula Foundation have any general statements on where they stand (or they didn’t last time I looked); but it would be pretty damn hard to do the work they do and not be rooted in the basics of biology. They also appear on (I think) Peter Singer’s list of charities who use the vast majority of their funds in practical aid and not in marketing, etc. They are a US charity, but I think you can donate to them from the U.K. via a JustGiving link.

I know an ngo in India which is one of the few that maintains an abolitionist stance re prostitution. Pm me if you would like the details, they run an exit programme and sponsor children through school and college,

There was a "sponsor a child" orgs recommendation thread in FWR a couple of years ago:

Lumos of course, and the author Onjali Rauf founded a small refugee aid team. I think supporting smaller causes like that is probably more useful (and transparent) these days.

I would agree to the smaller charities over larger idea. I think smaller charities are more focused on actually getting things done. It's when they grow too big & they start employing more and more people to run the charity, as opposed to doing charitable work, that the rot sets in.

This charity is an important voice against legalizing sex-buying in Sweden and helps hundreds of trafficked and abused women there and in Romania.

https://amrefuk.org/ Amref are fantastic - African-led so western gender bollocks not an issue for them, and they do vital work on fistula and on FGM. Their alternative rites of passage programme is a really effective intervention to change community attitudes to FGM.
