I've been a long time lurker on these threads ever since the girl guide's fiasco.

I've now got no more fucks to give and have recently been more vocal about safeguarding of women and children and single sex spaces.

I work for the nhs and my trust has drank the cool aid.

Basically what can I say to people without sounding like a nutter! I tell them fact but no one seems to believe me. It's right under their noses.

I've been out stickering and going to hand out flyers but what basic stuff do I need to know?

I want to be able to speak about this from the heart without tripping over my words and sounding like a idiot.

Not sure what I'm asking tbh but I'm excited to be finally doing more for the cause

As you're in the NHS maybe use the Cass report as your basis? It's factual, evidenced and about children's health care and the unethical use of medicine to harm children?

Thank you

This might be helpful too. Imagine they will have links to his publications in the show notes under the video too.

Good luck and well done!

DameMaud · 11/02/2023 14:18

Yes they do have good links in the show notes. Including other relevent episodes from the series- from GIDs clinicians David Bell and Marcus and Sue Evans

💐💐💐 excellent op

If your boss gets all job-threteany over your campaigning, refer them to the Maya Forstater case - gender critical views are protected speech.

Find other terves - there will be loads more of us in your workplace and having a real life network to talk about these ideas and stand together with the shit hits the fan is priceless.

I hear saying the phrase ‘I used to vote for x party but these days I’m politically homeless’ is a great way to subtly find fellow tervern travellers.

Thank you all.
Everyone on these boards seems so articulate around the matter. Superstars all of you

Most of us started with incoherent rants OP Smile. Arguing against this ideology is like nailing jelly to the wall - there's no intellectual, scientific or rational underpinning - just lots of bullying and intimidation accompanied by demands to be kind.

flyingbuttress43 · 11/02/2023 15:49

And never forget OP, it's not you sounding like a nutter - it's them. Sometimes it is hard to argue with stupid.

I wonder sometimes if we shouldn't be taking advice from those people who specialise in rescuing people from cults. They seem to have some success.

If ever you need a little boost, I can recommend a silent note to self…
