LGBA Cymru podcasts: for lesbians in particular

I've just discovered these podcasts put out in the last month or so by LGB Alliance Cymru. One is with the two lesbians who founded the group in Wales and one is an interview with Jo Phoenix. I thought I knew a bit about Jo's case, but listening to her talking about the years of abuse and lack of support from colleagues brings the horror of her situation home.

I really appreciated hearing some new voices. I'm sure they'd appreciate the clicks.

I listened on my way to work @pattihews . It's great! I've commented on it on the other thread about Rentons report on free speech in universities. I'll copy and paste the relevant part of my comment there here too.
Thank you for posting. I've subscribed to the podcast.

Very good. At the end, Jo offers a lovely bit of optimistic spin on all this- as a 'healing crisis'; imagining that in a few years down the line, this crisis will actually have served a need to strengthen our appreciation of the value of, and our commitment to, universities; as places of knowledge (more than politics), and free speech/democracy.
She strikes me as someone who has come through hell, bringing back wisdom rather than bitterness.
Highly recommend it.

I'm glad others have appreciated it. I also liked the other podcast with Sarah and Dee talking about their lives as out lesbians in the 80s and 90s and explaining why they decided to start LGBA Cymru. They're both very articulate and I think their experiences will chime with a lot of the older lesbians here.
